  • It is a shame that this phone doesn't has a front facing camera.

  • i want... haha, it be so awesome with if we can double tap the screen to wake the phone up, like the N9.

  • I have good question, does the phone support ARABIC language if I purchase the US version , or can I even download or install it ? this what gonna determine if I gonna buy it or not ... THANKS for the review anyway very informative

  • as smooth as iOS?

with WP7.5 mango, this is literally the most elegant, smooth, slick and snappy OS yet

android just stutters and spazzes the hell out and that is from a samsung galaxy S II

  • @SpadeAce90 Really?Android spazzes?Ice cream sandwich is smoother than iOS5ma lot smoother and thats from Samsung Nexus. Both Windows Phone and Android are better than iOS5.

  • tell me one thing plz....should i go for xperia arc s or lumia 800??

  • Damn, that design is breathtaking.

  • The bottom line is... it's pretty much iphone4 with a lower price tag, better looks and stronger construction with facebook integration. if you like iphone, you will like this too. Android is better in terms of customization etc but if you really don't care about that, then ... WP is excellent for you.

  • omg 02:11 its peter griffin

  • In my opinion the biggest problem with Windows Phone 7 is the core of the OS is common with Windows and there are many reports around with Windows Phones virused. A virus can come into the phone as easy as a jpg image or any other email or attachment.

While for Android and iOS this is not a problem, Windows Phones have big time trouble with viruses. Once infected by a virus, the phone can be a simple brick and AT&T or Microsoft or Nokia will not accept your phone back for a replacement.

  • Can you change the color of the tiles without any kind of "jailbreaking"?

  • @mehutolkki3232 yes u can

  • @mehutolkki3232 Ofcourse you can... You have 10 different colors to change;)

  • @mehutolkki3232 yes, you can choose from about 10 colors

  • nice review ..

liked the smart tiles and overall user interface.

Nokia has done a good job liked the design , but the question is making

app market for windows phone and how much wud this os will be efficient unlike the

    Desktop O.S????

  • I like those live tiles - or as I like to call them, smart tiles - that keep updating every few minutes...very convenient and practical as opposed to dead lifeless tiles....

  • i'm starting to like the new WP7 OS. And this phone looks pretty sexy

  • windows phone 7.5 is an amazing OS. iv used IOS and android and ill never go back. try is out for yourself.

  • Windows for mobiles isn't enough to beat android and ios

  • @musicwps I agree with you on that Windows Mobile is nowhere as good as compared to android and IOS because the two of them are still the dominant mobile operating systems on the market as of right now and the both of them are far much more superior than compared to Windows Phone 7.5

  • very nice review!! thank you

  • I am impressed nokia and WP. i had bad experience with wp 6.5 and htc tp2 but this is fresh. I also swiched to android gsii but maybe i will get back to wp next contract

  • Best phone!

  • [Paused at 1:05] that was a copy of the iPhone's packaging

  • @AhmdIsmail awwww diddums

  • his phone very cool, i think there are 2 kind of blue: hard blue and slight blue but i like this color slight blue

  • the layout of the phone looks boring. (and im not a windows hater) I think it is a great phone for people that are not zo handy whit other touch phones, because its have large buttons and easy menu's. (but for me to standard)

  • window should allow expandable sd memory

  • @Coolflame00 yeah like Galaxy Nexus...oh wait...

  • You should tilt your camera back a bit.

It feels like I'm falling towards the screen. =/

    Bit disorienting.

    Good review though. =]

  • Oh If I hadn't gotten that Galaxy SII....

  • Part 2?

  • @Lister2020 nevermind found it. Overall a good review I thought. I definitely prefer reviews where you actually USE the phone.

  • WP 7.5 Mango is a huge improvement from 7.0. I went from iOS, to Android, to my first WP7 device, an HD7, back to Android, and recently upgraded to the HTC Radar 4G, which has been an absolute treat to use on a daily basis. I really never thought I would switch back considering my sub par experience with the HD7, however with the Mango improvements and the beauty of the device, along with a FFC, 4g, and tethering, I was sold. Only thing missing on the Lumia is the FFC, which can be niche.

  • i donot like the tiles on the home screen , but all other functions are good.

  • WOOOW Stand-by button appears to be very higth???

  • The interface doesn't look interesting to me.. All those tiles, I would become crazy... Why do I have the feeling that I'm the only talking about the WP interface like this?

    Thanks

  • @tnerual888 because you're crazy. the live tiles are cool. better than boring fucking static icons

  • @mobileburn I recently switched to WP7.5 with the HTC Radar, do you think the Lumia 800 is an upgrade ?

  • Wow! At the end of a review, I kinda wanted to ask why nobody tries case on it, but I realised it WAS on and it looked like it's not even there. HUGE +

  • i dont like your hat

  • @hilfiger2k if I was to ditch my windows phone for an android device, I would for sure get the razr.

  • Michael Oryl - You are the King of Thorough phone reviews - You don't gloss over anything! Still the best, and keep up the great work!

  • hey michael. You're the best!!

  • clear black display looks amazing..

  • If this phone was running ICS on Android id probably get one cos the phone is beautiful. Ive got the Motorola Droid RAZR and i love it also. The RAZR is more of a mans phone...rugged but really good looks.

  • gorgeous is an understatement....this is minimalist design at its best

  • you lucky boy :)

  • This is absolutely the best way to uninstall apps (on WP7). Just two taps and its gone. It was a nightmare with Android on the default launcher. And I hated the progress bars on Android when uninstalling apps, I mean i am uninstalling the damn thing, just get rid it of it!

  • why cant nokia adopt android too =(~~~~~

  • @fadeaway1459

I thought so too. at first. Now as a androiduser, i am certain that windows mobile is far more better in everyway.

  • Lumia 800 or N9

  • I think I'll stick with my galaxy s2

  • I've never used a windows phone but I still don't have a desire for one

  • My next phone! Sure

  • Why was the intro flashing like it was a rave?

  • Do you ever smile Michael Oryl? You get to review phones as a job! :D Be happier :D Great reviewer though :)

  • @cKlutcHJ21 Intros are the hardest part of shooting the video. The lighting and other logistic aspects are hard to manage, especially by yourself. It's an absolute pain in the ass.

  • 9:10 ..deep ass black!

  • They should have made it 4" someway :s

  • Watching on my HTC sensation 4G,

  • Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Gimme...

  • @Crocodileofdoom MORE!

  • I really want this phone.

  • If I only needed a phone (got Samsung Galaxy S II right now), I would buy this one.

  • @krnrdstrm Same here
