Remember when people used to make a big deal out of halloween...everyone(kids, adults and advertising companies) really got into the spirit. Nowadays, there is almost no mention of it till three weeks before and then as soon as it came...its gone without a trace and here comes freakin christmas crammed in your face for , like two whole months. Lame. I need more Halloween in my life!
hey is there any way i can get this video from you i am trying to re-do a home video that got recorded over and i can't find this commercial anywhere else!
The guy at 0:28 is Stu Charno...., best known for his role as a Camp Councillor in Friday the 13th - Part 2. And yes he lives, cuz he was back at the Diner when all the killing went on.
Ah Hallmark Halloween Boo Bazaar stuff...just pure nostalgic halloweeny goodness. Funny thing is, I still find these products in stores to this day. Since so many card stores used to be Hallmark's, lots of them still have these older items hanging around their back room & put them out for sale with the rest of their stuff each year.
Go visit some OLD card stores in your neighborhoods, maybe you too can find some of this old stuff!
@NachtPhoenix You should get one of those DVD recorders to copy the material onto a disc. That's what I did, including the commercials. Personally, I think the commercials are more memorable than the TV Specials. After all, where are the DVD releases of commercials like these?
Long Live Hallmark!!!!

Yea, Charlie Brown, Garfield and whatnot. I guess sponsors like this are what helped put our memories on TV in the first place.

@kurtismccartney Yep. I got this commercial on a VHS and this aired during the CBS commercial on the Bugs Bunny and Charlie Brown Halloween Specials.

I have this on a tape of Halloween and Thanksgiving cartoons my mom recorded for me back in the day. I still have the tape! Great nostalgia.
