  • who´s paintings are this? Is there a specific artist behind that style?

  • I´ve got it: P. J. Crook :D

  • S'cuse me Wetton written like that!

David Cross plays also the Mellotron and Robert Fripp also!!!

  • technically it is called "karaoke version"...

  • That awkward moment when 360 sounds better than 480 o_O

  • is that a violin in the beginning?who plays it?

  • @turtlliwdnifuoyehthr

Violin played by David Cross: Super !

Bill Bruford on Drums John Weton on bass, vocals Ian Mc Donald on Woods

And others that i don't remember now but i have the VINYL!!!

  • The unlikeliest karaoke experience.

  • Very useful if you want to work out exactly what's being played! :)

  • I like this much better.

  • It sounds as it's missing more than just the vocal tracks. But maybe I dont remember right.

  • So many KC songs could have been better if they'd been instrumentals.

  • AhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhYeaAeyhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhha

  • Doctor Diamond....all cleaned up and ready to go......should have been on RED, or at least USA.

  • @CrimsonKing73 Is there a version of "Doctor Diamon" that is not live? I've only heard the live version

  • @timi0000

wetton and richard palmer james recorded a version in the 90's but it really differs from the original

  • some of the best heavy music ever made

  • Sounds better. Wettons voice brings the music down

  • Faaaaaaallen Aaaaaaaaaaangel !!!

  • wonderful

  • I love all the lineups, but the Wetton, Bruford and Fripp arrangement is the best. Red

is probably the best Crimson album ever.

  • @JamesVanDutch Yes. I agree. Starless and Bible Black is my favorite album. The good songs mixed with the intense improv tracks are so potent. I wish Red would have been longer, maybe without Providence which really was a Starless era track. Great album though. All three from this lineup are equals really.

  • young and handsome I might add!

  • These "partial" recordings are so awesome. What a powerful band.

  • Beautiful

  • @aakkoin Hello, I own the original 4-disk "Great Deceiver" boxed set from October 1992, with the Providence concert, including: "Improv: Providence" and "Improv: A Voyage to the Center....",

so, it's OK...........however, do you have the new Poseidon and Islands Surround releases? I hear there are many rare tracks on those. Thank you again!

  • Do you have any other "goodies" from the new surround re-masters? if so,......BRING EM ON!!!!!!

  • thank you for posting it.....ABSOLUTELY beautiful. notice that at the end you don't hear the backwards bass note fading in and stopping suddenly......that was the invention of engineer George Chkiantz. thanx again, i almost like it better than the finished one

  • @CrimsonKing73 The backwards bass note 'at the end' was recorded for the end of 'One More Red Nightmare', -the original jam had no end cos the tape ran out- it was not recorded for Fallen Angel which is a song that fades out before the end on the album. Though there is a 'backwards bass note' at the start of Fallen Angel.

  • Without the vocals it seems to bring a more intense feel to Robert's guitar. It also sounds as though it was recorded in recent times too.

  • @bobby666666 Yea, you can totally hear better the other tracks too.. Might be because of the surround mixing of Steven Wilson.
