  • Fat loss is all about heart rate. doing compound exercises help that. because your using more muscles in da exercise. super setting doing upper body and lower body exercise is beta because blood is being shunted from eg. chest to quads

  • for starters squats is a actually a glute and hamstring dominant exercises, lunges are quad dominant.

  • @MasonCook28 no, you fail. he told you every thing to do, all you have to do now is go put his plan into effect. The most important piece of information he gave was to work out large muscle groups. thats what he meant when he said my arms are small and my leg are big. the bigger muscle groups burn more calories which translates into fat loss. You want fast fat loss? workout your legs, core, back and chest, but dont forget about the minor muscles

  • @iloveyouallatbbw You can still do running without reducing muscle mass, but to do this you will need to measure your heart rate carefully, and staying at your heart target rate zone.

    Heart target rate zone can be measured like this:

    220 - age = #

    # X 0.85 = -> Max heart rate zone which you will not go over

    # X 0.65 = -> Min heart rate zone which you will need to go over to burn fat

    Don't cross the Max heart rate zone and you will be all good!

  • @sweetkisses4uonly too long hours of workouts can force your body to create cartisol which is a hormone that destroys muscle mass for energy and can make your hopes of fat loss just a hopes thats why you should never work more than 1.5hours a day(for most people at least). so my answer to your question is, don't work more that 1.5hours a day. your goal is to make every single minute of you're work out intensive, I would really recommend his weight loss book.

  • @Awine23 not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but [and I do not mean to sound like an asshole], he's pointing out the size difference between the muscle groups because the quadriceps/adductors/hamstring­s combined require far more energy than the muscles of the upper arm, due to their size.

  • If you wanna make a video to share insight on fat burning you should talk more about rest periods, number of reps, and target heart rate. I just finished several months of heavy lifting to build size and now I want to burn fat, so your video wasn't helpful to someone like me.

  • Its VERY possible to gain muscle and loose fat at the same time. But you need a small caloric deficit of maybe 300-500 calories maximum. This way your body does not go into starvation mode and burn muscle. Your body will take the extra calories it needs from your FAT stores. Its only hard when a individual has maximized muscularity and minimized fat aka bodybuilders going to a competition that its hard to do both. But if you have some body fat on you your able to build muscle AND loose fat.

  • Also a caloric deficit does not mean a protein deficit. I went from (5'10) 200 pounds to 185 at 9 percent body fat. And yes I built muscle while LOOSING fat it was a EYE OPENER. I was stuck on a bulking phase gaining all this fat then i had to cut it all away it was SO frustrating. If you wanna get friggen lean after your weight training do some interval running. walk for one minute on the treadmill then run hard for a minute. Repeat this lets say 10 times and you will burn fat calories.

  • After weight training your body depleted its glycogen stores. So the interval training will put you in your fat burning state quicker. the key is working harder for a shorter amount of time for cardio. I only do it for 10-15 min after i weight train and boy am i huffing and puffing. Also alot of guys out thier load up on way to much protein. Protein in excess is just extra calories and it will prevent you from being LEAN. Thats why thiers alot of fat muscular guys in the gym

  • Squats are a posterior chain exercise not a quad exercise unless you are doing it wrong. You want a sixpack he is right in the sense of doing a good compound routine to develop muscles however everyone has a six pack already... just some people have it covered in fat. Lose the fat, gain the six pack. Eat less calories than you burn each day and you lose the fat. Do the exercises and create the muscle and the shape. Simple.
