Of course this was one of George Martin's most brilliant works of producing (esp. the tympani), up there with his work on Paul Winter Consort's Icarus album and Jeff Beck's Blow by Blow. This is George Martin all over it, and of course great Stackridge. Oh, and maybe a little Beethoven. Great stuff that stands up very well over the years. Nice film
What can you say, ? This is Music as good as anything recorded in the last 40 years. Up there alongside Zappa, Elgar, Vaughan Williams , - deserves to be heard , used in a Film Score ( The Hobbit ? ) - and now Spud Taylor adds his unique visual take on it . Breathtakingly good .
My favorite Stackridge tune of them all, and your finest animation so far.
*sigh* Just crank the volume up and go full-screen. Oh, and pour me a pint, eh?
