he's a swell guy. fixed a couple of fuzz wahs for me. I'm gonna ebay some weird heads, hope for the best, and buy one of his heads. I turn 54 Thursday, and I'd like to have at least one stellar amp and one stellar guitar. we'll start with the amp.

Did you try this amp with other speakers? Those Private jacks dont sound harsh at all they are kinda smooth

I tried it with a single Black Mountain, G12H30, Weber 12A125-T and EV12L. All speakers sounded great but the Private Jacks sounded "right" to me...a good match.

Wow that sounds incredible..I really like the simplicity. What's the tele-gib? Just a tele with humbuckers? Or does it have a mahogany body? Would love to hear a demo of your bassman clone Billy!

Thanks for the kind words! That amp was really nice and Adam is a great guy! My Tele-Gib is based on the Tele that Seymour Duncan built for Jeff Beck in the 70s I believe. I love Teles and love humbuckers so it was a no brainer for me. Ash body and maple neck, Lollar Imperial humbuckers and ROCK!!!

I just used my Tele with Bardens through my 5F6-A Bassman clone for the HipKitty Glaze pedal review. That should post probably next week. It sounded gooooooooood! -Billy

Thanks for watching first of all!!! It's my personal cabinet and I loaded it with Private Jacks to go with the British flavor of the amp. They are based on green back speakers. I am an Eminence dealer and these sounds great! -Billy

Sure I always enjoy hearing a good guitar player demonstrate new gear. Satellite amps remind me of Dr. Z in the simplicity and low wattage aspect. One more thing, what were the pups in your tele?

That's a cool amp. Great sound, but the controls are too simple for my taste.
