There is a certain amount of consideration involved when you listen to someone. A process of understanding that has to take place and a choice (that's the big seperator here!) to believe or to not believe.

Brainwashing removes consideration and removes choice from the equation leaving compliance in their place.

The initial judgement i made was based on the empathic audio of this video linked with a very similar tone of empathy as seen in the monologue. At the start, the viewer is hit so to speak, no better, soothed into the video with the alchemy of the combination of the two. The striking monologue (which i do appreciate on its' own) leads into another monologue by Icke i believe, highlighting the beginning greatness of the world, each statement linked to an image representing that statement.

Already this has led the viewer to associate what he/she hears with what he/she sees. that asscoiation early on is truthful and based on fact - the world was better in many ways before humans began evolving toward a technocracy. This is where it begins to break down...The next image is of the atrocity of humans (a starving mother child), which yes, does exist but is highlighted here for the extreme response it evokes along with the speaker and the 'heart-string pulling" piano sample.

This response blurs the line between the prior objective statement/ image with the next "glass half empty" slightly subjective comment and objective image.

Following up are images of sadness, destruction, and death (sadly played piano lingers on). The first move of shifting the viewers reason and conscious interpretation comes with the highly subjective comments based on government, politicians, doctors, and religion...it can go both ways.

The combination of all of these cues, images, sounds, and bold statements in the video can directly lead a viewer down the line of thought that is presented and associate that thought with truth.Someone with little faith in reason, understanding, and common sense may bypass their usual judgements based on all of the above and instead of acknowledging and questioning, is more susceptible to simply being told and accepting.
