it recharges once a day and you will just recieve the ammo for it where ever you are at. You dont have to go back to Helios One.

You don't have to go all the way to Helios one to recharge it if you wait a whole day in game time it will gift you an Archimedes ii charge and I won't kill everything in one shot although deathclaws are a bitch

Read the New Vegas wiki under the bugs section for the weapon it mentions a few problems, and some have a solution For instance:

When trying to fire the targeting laser may repeatedly play its animation without firing. To fix, save the game with the gun drawn and firing and then quit the game completely back to the desktop/reset console. Restart, reload, and wait for the firing animation to complete Save far enough away from the target to not be hit, but close that the animation plays

i love the glitch for unlimited ammo for this th9ing too...

1. put it in any random crate or mail box (nothing else)

2. take it back out tihout the ammo.

3. after taking it out without the ammo wait for new ammo too come (wich usualy happens in a few seconds)

4. put gun back in. you will now notice that your previous ammo is with the gun. put the ammo you had just recieved into the container (or mailbox) and take out gun.

5. repeat prosses as many times as you want.

@clayripblair Remnants Power: to obtain it u can either do Arcade Gannon's side quest or the helmet is at silver peak mine by the legendary cazador and the armour is at the deathclaw promontary south of the fort, you can get there by swimming upstream from cottonwood cove, but if u search for the armour it is in shit condition
