Somehow I wonder if this song is about her clothing choices.
Saying that she only wore the black dress once for "someone". Perhaps a lover who preferred her in dresses?
Then she says "this is who I am" in the song meaning her manly clothes are just who she is. The dress burning furthers my suspicions.
