There were weekends in Youngstown when the Beinz would walk into concerts at Idora Park and everyone would crowd around them rather than the stars of the show. Some weekends you would have the Beinz playing, Phil Keggey and Glass Harp, Joe Walsh and James Gang, and a local Stones type band. What an awesome time to grow up there. College was absolutely outrageous.
I saw them at the Golden Record in Niles, Ohio. They did Hey Grandma by Moby Grape, My Generation and Evil Hearted You. It later burnt down. I then saw them at the old Freak Out. Belley still had his Telly, but Ting traded his Rick for a psychedelic Strat. The Freak Out burnt down while we were all at WHOT Day at Idora Park. I think the citizens of Niles just wanted to get rid of the hippy living in the parking lot inside of an old US Mail van.
@1maggs123 He went to YSU with me and his bands name was Knott cause his name was Magnotta. He was a good bud and an awesome drummer. If this is the one you are talking about. We also had the youngest guitarist to have a hit one note solo and he was with the band that did Expressway To Your Heart. What great times and great musicians and good friends.
Where is Belley? I thought it was Bellay? No?

"Human Beinz" The Human Beinz featured rhythm guitarist Ting Markulin, lead guitarist Richard Belley, bassist Mel Pachuta, and drummer Mike Tatman.
Many nights were spent at "Idora Ballroom"......They were a great show and rocked the ballroom on many weekends.......
