  • I was a member of the 3rd Infantry ( The Old Guard) in 1974 - 1875 and it was an honor and a pleasure and a privilege to honor our fallen brothers and sisters.

May they rest in peace. charliethepastor1955r@yahoo.com

  • "War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling that thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

  • D: ive been to arlington. those poor people...

  • Yes, but we are richer, because of them. My dad is still alive at 89 he served in WWII. I also, have 2 brothers in the Air Force. God Bless them all!

  • I have been there once. I felt it is the most important place to go in the DC region. I loved the changing of the guards, wow what a site. You feel different while there. We must never forget those whom gave their lives. That is why Arlington is there. God bless those brave people. Also the greatest president to have ever lived is there. John Kennedy, his eternal flame was a sign of everlasting devotion. His spirit won't soon be leaving us.

  • Great video. This is the vbest part of DC area. Thanx to all who serve(d).

  • He flips that 10 lb. M-14 around like it's a piece of PVC. Amazing precision being exhibited by these elite men in uniform.

    Remember the Troops!

  • And boy, do I love the 30-06...

  • Actually, it's an M-14 from the Korean war. Might have been used in early Vietnam. I cleaned both of those things many, many times. The whole 3rd Infantry Regiment used M-14s for ceremonies, and used to use them for qualification, till a few years ago. I was stationed there 2002-06, and knew a few guys who had shot the 14s.
