He wasn't a prop - he was a full back. It was some time before the numbering convention giving the full back number 15 came into being, and some teams numbered the opposite way round. Obviously these All Blacks were one.

AMazing. The more I watch 'old' rugby, the more I prefer it to the modern game. Great virtuoso playing and great teamwork.  The ABs are legends.
