If Saruman was smart he would have left 1000 Uruk-Hai in Isengard or just wait and make his army even bigger. Then he could have proceeded burning Fangorn and the Ents would probably have attacked but because the Uruk-Hai would still be there the Ents would probably also be burned, and even if the Rohirrim charges, Just close the gates and keep spamming arrows, with an army of 10.000 shooting arrows at the Rohirrim, they would be dead pretty quick. Then he could have marched and Tadaa Rohan gone

@kattekind1 i think you are really underestimating the strength of the ents and the vast amount of huorns that attacked isengard, 1000 uruks wouldn't do anything more than the snaga that were in isengard during the attack. not to mention all the huorns who destroyed at least half of the 10,000 saruman sent out. (not all 10,000 of the army were uruk-hai, alot were wild men, goblins, and orcs.)

@gugvg i don't know if he kept his army of 10.000 there and he would all equip them with fire arrows the Ents could have lost because if that army just shot 2 volleys of arrows the ents would have a pretty hard time there. I don't know how the huorns would manage to get into Isengard because their not really the climby, walking type
