I really like this version. I always like to hear songs sung in someones native language. The story plays in my mind without knowing the meaning of the words. The graphics are great, and really match the music. It says Sohame comes from France, but it looks like Hungarian comments below. and Jane is from China--this is a world video, is it not?

Impressions Of The West Lake is a modern day opera conceived and directed by internationally acclaimed filmmaker Zhang Yimou , the visionary artist behind the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. The production is highlighted by music composed by Kitaro. The shows soundtrack also features rising Chinese pop star Jane Zhang, a gifted young performer who provides stunning vocals to the production on the title track, "Impressions Of The Westlake".
