This trailer is awful. They spoil the best plot twist in videogame history right of the bat.. I know it said "travel through the centuries" on the back of the original packaging, but showing all the modern day scenes in the trailer is just plain trolling. Getting crushed in Vysehrad castle and punching open the coffin in the society of leopold had me flying across the room with excitement.. I had to pause the game out of sheer awesomeness!
FYI you can once again play online using Tunngle, a vpn client similar to Hamachi that allows you to play in Multiplayer Lan mode. The difference is there is no configuring and there is one large Redemption lobby instead of individual channels and passwords. Get more info on our front page and forums at planet-vampiredotcom.
Well, it DO is an immortal RPG. I remember playin' this one when I was a teenager, playin' also Vampire and Bloodlines on tabletop with my role party... good memories, good times.
GOG - you make me GAG with all these great games! (but as a games collector (it's my hobby!)) I own pretty much 99% of all the games you sell!!! :) Shows we both have good taste!! :)
@ErickDamon Indeed. I've been wanting to play Redemption for along time now and have held off playing Bloodlines until I could get my hands on Redemption. Now's my chance! =D

First game I purchased at GOG.com. I did not regret it.

I had this game, but I don't know where it is nowadays :(

the solo for this game was good, but where it really blows you away was in the mulitplayer.
the Storyteller mode let you run a game like a tabletop. your own stories with customized buildings and chars.

Bloodlines (part 2) sucked big time and had no atmosphere from this great game at all.
Hopefully Nihilistic will make a sequel some day... The only good vampire game ever so far.

No atmosphere? You live on the moon?
syafiqjabar 2 years ago
@sigoog Actually, Bloodlines was not the sequel of this game. They were 2 completely different games.
Grenadier1939 1 year ago
@Grenadier1939 Not completely. Sure, they belong to different genres, but they are still based on the same universe.

That one is owned by EA, though. Maybe soon EA will put their games on GOG.

Aw man I already bought from D2D. If I knew you guys were gonna sell it I would have bought it at GOG for all the extras.
ErickDamon 2 years ago 5
@ErickDamon This is the first Vampire: The Masquerade game.
The one D2D is the one that uses Steam's Source engine and is called Bloodlines. They do not sell Redemption to my knowledge.
So it's still worth getting this one if you have the $5.99 USD.
