Whites leave because they believe (rightly or wrongly) that some blacks have targeted them and because they doubt the government will protect them. The issue of "belonging to So. Africa" is really irrelevant to your question. Whites know that whatever country they belong to, the possibility for their annihilation still exists. Whites also look at Zimbabwe and the misrule of Robt. Mugbe. So whites leave out of fear, real or imagined . It may not be fair, but it is understandable.

I left SA mainly because of BEE. I agree with the aim of BEE as there should be a better ratio of races reflective of the nation in any workforce but it was done very impatiently and impulsively. Pushing non-skilled and inexperienced black people into positions they were not really qualified for was a really bad move. The SAn government is constantly "calling upon skilled expatriates to return home" LOL!! SA will be a nice place again after a few generations get educated properly

I am a white South Afrrican living in Australia. Just like South Africa in general its complicated & people leave 4 many reasons, crime, lack of job opportunities, hate crimes, family already living overseas, racism etc. Let say one thing though emmigrating is not the easy way out, its just the safer route. I applaude your attitude btw :) I have been told straight to my face that I cant be south African because Im not black! haha Also there are a TONNE of black emmigrants living here 2! :)

The stuff they teach doesn’t prepare the student to the real world. Schools, Colleges and university don’t teach people to do a successful business, how to invent their own product or even use the internet and other free resources. The system wants to control how you think, they want you to think their way. Christians taught us to think their way, remember?

@makheyi i look around myself and see alot of people who didn't try hard in school and were more interested in sitting at home doing shit all then going to school and learning and doing something productive with their lives the people i went to school with that dropped out or didn't try hard are the ones who are not going anywhere in life and are bouncing part time job to part time job if they can even hold one for more than a month.... school is a great help and opportunity

85-90% of a nations wealth is controlled by 10-15% of the population, which means that 85-90% of the nations work force will be anything from unskilled, skilled, professional or executive. Only a small amount of the workforce will actually become successful entrepreneurs. So that is why people go to school or Uni and get educated.
