No, but there's no real tangible income when you pay for a war. There are only expenses. And printing money is inflation, loans need to be repaid, and taxing people don't increase actual wealth, it just moves it around.

@safesexmonster I didn't say it was good for me. Personally, I find it to be abhorrent. That is the easy route to take, though. Nobody in this country is going to look at you crooked if you say you are against the concept of war. The reality of the situation though, is that it DOES stimulate economy and the US government exists because of money. In the political spectrum, war and genocide are terrific things.

Take for example when the United States jumped into World War II, President Roosevelt converted automotive factories into factories that produced supplies for tanks. Plus, if you're in a war like World War II, where you've got allies, you can trade amongst your allies thus giving your economy a good ol' fashion kick start.
