There havent been any reports of anyone being hurt..its a good thing it was the long weekend..dont know about the pets tho...i dont think they faired as well. I know the firefighters brought a couple birds over to the community church.
Just my opinion... Propane tanks exploding... NOT... would have been like a small bomb going off, would have been fatalities. I live in the south building facing the one that was on fire... I saw the very early stages and the fire was coming from inside the unit. Maybe its just me but I don't keep propane tanks in my living room, maybe on the balcony. So lets rule out the theory of propane tanks.... OK?
If your family looking for family you can call the lakeland inn. 780-594-3311. If your a tenant call your landlord and they will put you in touch with Cindy. Tenanats will now be regestered thru her. The landlord will also be able to give the status on the building.
I heard it was caused by an unattended bbq on a balcony. How do I contact Cindy about the were abouts of my sister. She has no phone so need to find out how she is doing
As far as Ive heard nobody was hurt. Most are out on holidays. I was told if i wanted to volunteer some help, to call back in a cpl days when more tenants come back. Right now cindy(Red Cross) has it under control. Some dont have insurance and may need a place to stay so please call if you can help out! and no this is not the building right across from the yellow condos, its the other one facing east and west.
The entire roof is gone. The two apartments on the far right of the back here are where it mightve started. second or top floor. Ppl say they heard two big explosions and then saw the fire. They are putting everybody up at the lakeland inn(780-594-3311) Cindy at red cross is organizing. Tenants are to register with the Community church. Thats the one across from the dentist/Hamels...not sure if anything is ready yet for donations but the church may know more. So sorry for everybodys loss...
I used to live in the other Cedarwood building and then the yellow condo's.. those buildings are older than dirt hence why it's probably burning down fast.
Sounds like everyone got out okay. My sister is staying at the Lakelander but has lost everything. This might be where they are putting everyone up. Hope they had renters insurance but I'm sure my sister didn't.
why doesn't he put water on the part closet to the camera?

It was caused by two propane tanks exploding! You could see the smoke up on base, it was just that bad. The building is devastating to see

I should add that I'm glad that you posted the video so I can see how bad it was. Looks like a road trip to help out my sister might be in order.
