With the music industry the way it is now (image/aimed at teenage girls Bieber/Gaga/Del Rey) I can say with utter confidence there will never be another Elvis, The Beatles, Cat Stevens, Aimee Mann just those shit artists already listed and more dubstep types. In some ways its great to be from this generation (greater understanding of science, religion retreating etc) but also the worst (shit music, world being destroyed and the media being horrendous)

I saw both Elvis and Garfunkel sing this live. While Garfunkel's version was lovely, Elvis's version gave me goosebumps and touched my soul. He was "the bridge over troubled water" when singing. Unforgettable.

I'm 60 years old now and my sister, who was with me, still says he will never forget the expression that was on my face that night Elvis sang this! I'm not sure if Elvis was a Godsend, not that religious, but something was going on with this guy! Too much talent, looks and a great guy too! Hard to explain?
