Hold up... Who the fucks got an 18 in forearm... Average lenght of your forarm today is 12 inches. There is also evidence that at that time (3000bc) the Average height of a man was 5 feet, where as today its closer to 6 feet. the average forearm was probably closer to 10 inches at the time. With that in mind.. 300cubitsx30x30 sounds more like 250ftx25ftx25ft. not 450ft,..
yeah... I'm 5:30 into this, and I can't watch anymore. all of these stupid questions are answered in the Bible.
1) EVERYTHING was much bigger; man, animals, and plants due to the effect the canopy had
2) there were much less species all living together as one, when the canopy broke different climates were formed and adaptation took place, causing genes for everything to change ever so slightly. you need to remember everything was the same climate under that greenhouse
First- Ark could not be made of entirely of wood-when the text does not say "entirely." They even said 19th century ships had partly metal frames, yet they are universally considered "wooden vessels." Also doesn't exclude metal nails/joints.
Second - equating "kinds" with "species" is a huge leap, given "species" was defined by Linnaeus only a few centuries ago. Don't need two lions, two tigers, two ocelots, two cheetahs, etc.etc, just two cats.

Genesis says the pairs were 1 for unclean, 7 for clean, "male and female."
1. Everything would be inbred, unclean 7 times as much.
2. Some animals don't have 2 genders.

Read the bible, it says 7 each of every clean animal and 2 each of every dirty animals.

right off the bat, this has something wrong with it... Noah was a giant, so was everyone else in his time. When the canopy broke, we began to shrink.

Lots of MAJOR FLAWS in the logic used here.

So Noah saved a few dozen species, how did the other 30 million species live, or was the flood greatly overrated?
