I love Eli... He's just so real in his music... you can feel his music and his piano playing is fabulous, and yes he is so handsome. Anybody know what he was saying in the beginning.... I like him better without his hat... I guess that is his security blanket.

i love eli, and although in the longrun it will prolly be best that he did not win as look what idol did to taylor hicks. taylor hicks you say? exactly. now my point being...eli does not need the lame background singers, as did he not need the poor backup strings on the last AGT. i seriously believe it hurt his performance and ultimately lost agt for him. neals performance was actually better because of the producers poor input with eli's spot.

It's going to be a fantastic return to his singer-songwriter roots, which did get somewhat lost in the CD he was rushed to make after winning AmIdol.

Now on new path, with a great producer who's worked w/Clapton, BB King, Santana, Aretha, Faith Hill, etc.

I have to agree with the post about not needing the big band & back up singers... just Eli and his piano - that's all that is needed. Hope he doesn't get pushed into "over-producing" his CD and shows... a great talent like his doesn't need it, and it actually can be distracting.. at least to me the listener.

The concert was great. I posted these videos because I thought it was important for people to see how great Eli is and also give credit to America's Got Talent for allowing us to enjoy Eli's music.

As for the extremely excited woman yelling next to me.. that is my wife. She enjoyed watching Eli at home so much I surprised her and flew her out to Vegas for the show. It was also our 9th anniversary (We were married in Las Vegas).

Please support Eli when his CDs come out and watch AGT!
