When Tom describes the interactions of super systems and redefines systems analysis his choice of words seems to indicate any or all systems approaches whether economic, sociopolitical, electrodynamic or otherwise. Where did it get besides buried? Wonderful things are possible for mankind, but the elite will never let the knowledge become widely known to the masses. I agree that Mr. Bearden should be mentioned alongside the greats of physics, but the same people who own the oil companies also own the publishing houses. Especially YT.

Of course you're right regarding the people who own the oil companies. They are the same elite who own all mass media. I was referring to a time in the future when we have thrown off the yoke of the elite. In the waaay distant future. We still live in the time of the crusades, in most ways except by name. Knowledge is still censored & "protected". Bearden really is awesome isn't he...really eye opening theories & models. One of my favorite brains. Cool accent too.

He's relating breaking of symmetry in a chemical reaction and Yang Mills theory...you gotta be kidding me! Also the interaction of the EM field with the vacuum doesn't give a directional dependence classically, this is why it's an abelian symmetry or U(1) gauge group . By simple statistical argument AND REPEATED EXPERIMENTAL FACT the 1st order moment or mean of the fluctuations is zero in a closed region of volume V.

Bearden and others are suggesting that the "reality" of electrodynamic potentials extends to the classical level. If this were so light would have an observable velocity shift in the vacuum. The photon is estimated (by studying large B fields) to have a mass around 10^-53 Kg (22 orders smaller than an electron!) So this seems to be enough bending of S-T to provide mass, but not enough to spoil gauge invariance (i.e., the unphysical approximation of the EM potentials).

It's really amazing how much he gets wrong here. Lee and Yang won the Nobel prize for suggesting *parity violation* in weak interactions, which he uses interchangeably with "spontaneous symmetry breaking". Neither has any consequences for energy conservation.

It isn't that they "haven't gotten around" to putting it in electromagnetism, it's that they've looked for it and it's not there (except at a very small level throug weak interference).

Then it's downhill from there
