I really like this kid, he is very talented. I've only gotten to see him perform once so far and was very impressed. I am looking forward to a concert close to home as I'm not in a position to travel far right now. I really get off on his playing and think he's got the chops to go far.

i have a copy of foeward in reverse. its signed and numbered by ryan. i was lucky enough to work with one of ryans' fathers friends. he turned me on to it. if memory sreves... i think ryan was I9 or 20 when he did it. he'll have time to find himself. if he hasnt already. i dig it.

I agree with many others. Pretty good player but he is just playing the same old blues licks. I love the blues but another pretty white boy heeled on Clapton and KW Shepard is not what I'm looking for. Soulful? Not really, more like manufactured.

@egjanuary NOt at all this kid is special, you have to see him live to understand the talent of Ryan. His original stuff has a plethora of original and mixed blues style. The kid can play. Any endorsement form the likes of Eric Clapton, Joe Satriani and JOhnny Lang are pretty darn good. They don't tend to blow smoke up peoples butt when they say "He's the next BLues Legend!"

No I am not being negative I am being honest with you that is the way I feel about it..That is why there is different kinds of players and music.. I stumbled across this fella.. I am not saying he can't play.. what I am saying is that I have heard this style alot and it does not appeal to me anymore..This is in the same vain as Gary Moore and I don't like him either.. My opinion is my own and really who cares.. Enjoy him if you like this stuff.. :)

Too many people trying to sound like this... I think the Joe Bonnamassa, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, and about a million other guitarists solo too much..without saying anything with their playing... Not to be a negative Nelly but this sounds to generic these days and has been done to hell.. Sorry..

im not disagreeing that this a great guitarist, and i think he sounds REALLY good, but honestly there is not much of his own in this video, meaning hes trying way to hard to sound like joe bonamassa, he needs to form his own unique style of the blues, this is an amazing video with a mazing guitar playing, but i think he should come up with his own style and tone to add his own perspective to the blues.

Wish I had gotten tickets for both days. But I did get to see him perform Sunday. His amp didn't work, so Joe Bonamassa geve him his jack. (Search "Mile High Equipment Malfunction") He did great.
