I was always wondering why they don't still continue Dragonball but now I understand...It can't get any better or actually it wouldn't get any better since animators change and waste there time more with effects. A good example is comparing the first bleach episodes with todays.

@SonGoku544 Never heard the japanese soundtrack but I like the american one for gt, it grew to me but faulconer is just my favorite because it stuck to me and have more of an emphasis on the show and I grew up with it. We all have our opinions but that one is mine :)

When i was young i love this anime, this was first time when i look anime at all.

Toriyama contributed only at the end of dragon dbGT , cause the animation company screwed badly with the story-line, supposedly the Dragon Ball story should have ended with DBZ, that was the author's decision, anyway i quite enjoyed it especially the last two saga's.

It was because it was made by the fans. Through the whole GT there was several illogical things, e.g. the first what comes to my mind is the shadow dragon. The dragon granted more than 7 wishes!

Goku said that he's tired because of the fights and he'd like to have a rest. At the end he disappears with Shenron to prepare himself.

Why does "a loving father" abandon his family? :) There was more but I just can't recall it, wathing it can help me but I have no time for it right now.

@Pittman006 dbgt wasnt made by fans, it was made by the animation company themselves, but Akira Toriyama had little to no contribution to the project until after the baby Saga. if fans had done it, copyright woulda never let it get aired. Also Goku has abandoned his family before. Cell Saga anyone?

The Grand Touring Saga was nice but rushed at the end. The Bebi Saga was the best of DBGT, because of the long fight and the SSJ4. The Super 17 Saga was mega stupid crap, because the android was killed to easy. And the Shadow Dragon Saga was a nice ending in DB and DBZ style.

actually the only gt did significantly better than dbz was the music! some really fantastic opening and ending tunes! other than that, it left us with the most disappointing ending to a long running series...seriously what an awful conclusion to all those years i spent watching this story develop...ugh

GT was no Dragon Ball Z. Dragon Ball Z was one of a kind, and I don't think it will ever be able to be topped (Easily my facorite show of all time). However I give GT one thing over Z.... GT's intro theme kicked fucking ass.... I could listen to this for hours!
