absolutely agree with 696stefano. to add to that sentiment, ferrari and maserati are also brands under the fiat holding company - yet they too retain their distinctive personalities. am onto my second alfa so far - also bought one of the last v6 GTs this year - black with red leather seats. the gt is a collector's item and that is exactly what i intend doing with mine.
the gt the gt v6 and spider and 156 have all got the alfa romeo made v6 the best engine alfa romeo ever made the engine was not made by fiat. those cars a true alfas made with passion and soul the new ones look like alfas and shout the alfa shout but when it comes to delivering that sporting feel the gt as many road testers have said is the best true alfa with great looks great sound great handaling and an alfa engine it made be made by fiat money but its 100 % alfa romeo

No - it doesnt ... GT V6 is the last Arese V6 ... and the last "pure" Alfa was the 75, after that all Alfas are Fiats...

I thought the GTV & Spider (916) were the last "pure" Alfa's?
The GT uses the General Motors engine block doesn't it?
