I think a lot of people feel disenfranchised and have simply stopped voting because they look at both dems and repubs and see a bunch of hypocrites who don't really stand for anything. The two only really stand for the principles when they're out of power. Once they're in they both send us hurtling toward more government control. Most people want to be left alone and to have a small unobtrustive federal government. The party that does that is in power from now till kingdom come.

The thing about it is that the youth of this country do not vote, do not hold politicians accountable, and therefore are not represented well in Washington. If you don't vote, Don't bitch when you don't feel represented.

The thing is, a lot of people don't vote because their candidates are not nominated, and usually the differences between your two choices are negligible at best. I've voted 3rd party pretty consistently for the past 12 years, but at times it feels pointless given the huge uphill battle being fought. I've voted in primaries several times insofar as the Republicans go, but with the exceptions of Buchanan and Paul, there hasn't been much to get behind of late.

The answer isn't third party in my view. The answer is that the youth and true constitutionalists must become more active and take over one of the major parties for their benifit. the fiture is in the hands of gen X, Y, and Z. They must become the soulution for the betterment of our country.

lol Didn't see that one coming. Nonetheless, I'm not closing off to activism in politics, but at the federal level, I'm starting to wonder if maybe the problem isn't just bad representation, but an inherent flaw in the Constitution itself that needs to be remedied. I think I may address this in a future video, though right now my plate is loaded up with other stuff.
