  • These look lovely. I am noticing when you say bacon it looks like diced ham from a US view. Our bacon is kind of fatty long thin pieces you fry up along side of eggs. Thanks for sharing babe. Loved it.

  • @cozzyk I think if you buy smoked bacon that isn't sliced, just get the butcher to hack you off an inch, then dice and fry it you will end up with what David is using. A piece of smoked ham, diced and fried would be good too.: )

  • Those look pretty tasty alright, but checking some of your other recipes, it occurred to me that there isn't too much in your OPC cook book that isn't loaded down with mega calories. Like your Chocolate Caramel Slice, Home Made Baileys Irish Cream, Chocolate Mars Bar Crispies, Home Made Ice Cream, Chocolate Brownies, Bread and Butter Pudding, Lemon Cheesecake, Creamy Potato Bake, etc., etc., etc. I'm sure they're all delicious but holy cow, I can already feel my arteries clogging up! LOL

  • For the vegetarian, do we cook the spinach before placing it on the puff pastry? And if so, how do we cook it?

  • @whats1her1name You can either use fresh, uncooked spinach leaves and scatter them on with the crumbled feta. The other option is to fry the spinach in a little butter or olive oil until they wilt and soften, squeeze and drain them then scatter on the pastry with the feta ;)
