@Filmpjestoaster Windows generally has lots of special offers for academic use and ect. That makes it significantly cheaper. Plus the $30 is meant to be for upgrading only from leopard. Though I think I read you can use it like a full install but then your probably breaking the license agreement and might as well compare it to stealing Windows 7.

but before i do, i will tell you how i got it on there.

i burned a disck image called leo4all.

i put it in my pc, typed "-v" and it loaded up the installer. i formatted my usb hard drive to mac osx extended (journaled) and i went to customize install, installed realtek hd audio drivers, nvinject (for nvidia video drivers) installed amd utility, vanilla kernel etc. and it started installing. 20 minutes later, it restarted.

then after it restarted it loaded windows. i used easybcd to install the osx86 bootloader.

i restarted. i setup my hackintosh by putting in my information and boom. leopard loaded up.

i go to "about this mac" and it says "leo4all version 10.5.4"

and for your information, i tried installing osx86 but 2 months into trying my friend helped me and 4 months later i did it successfully.

you obviously have no idea with computing, if you study at degree level or even at the basics of ICT and internet computing, you will know that no system is 'safe' from any type of malicious software. Mac or Windows, statisticaly Windows is a much safer system, particularly vista and 7, due to using popular executables over a vast quantity of users around the world. Consequently the security architecture is more efficient then any OS to date.
