  • As a future commercial pilot the 777 is definitely a dream and I hope one day to fly the flag (as a proud Englishman & Brit) on one of these beautiful aircraft. Yes, a lot of time, money and effort flying other aircraft (Dash 8s etc.) for other airlines (Flybe etc.) will be necessary but it will be worth it when I one day hopefully fly for BA! Currently my baby is PA-38 Tomahawk 2 belonging to Ravenair! :P

  • Bring back the concorde fleet if you want a real plane

  • how many 777-300er's do you have in your fleet now ? i think they look weird because im soo used to seeing 200's haha great video though :)

  • @DaveSull1994 We currently have three, with three more to come. You can see full fleet details on the IAG website, in the 'About Us' section. Thanks.

  • How beautiful!

  • at 2:12 i was like haha they painted the windows

  • Beautiful plane. 777-300ERs are one of my favorite planes.

  • I'd like know if BA'll use this plane at flight BA 246/247, to São Paulo - Brazil ?

  • Does British Airways fly to Singapore? I'm wondering..

  • jesus, get a new livery...

  • @gloomyoutlook Hi - you'll be pleased to hear that we are introducing a special livery on some of our aircraft for the Olympic & Paralympic Games 2012. Thanks.

  • @gloomyoutlook would love to see BA go for the Landor livery again as I think that was the best

  • @gloomyoutlook Why should they get a new livery there is no point they have been the same and they will be.

  • @gloomyoutlook

Why does an airline need to get a new livery every so many years? Why not keep a livery that people know. Don't be like Delta who thinks they need a new one every 5 years. On top of that you gonna pay to have all the aircraft in the fleet repainted?

  • Alan'svings, it is the 777-200 that operates from Gatwick.

  • I loved the music but this is not the same track as Helen Jane Long's The Aviator.

  • In my opinion A340 is better than 777

  • @Doublecheesburger1 sorry but Airbus just does not compare to Boeing Aircraft, Boeing aircraft are better designed and have higher safety ratings

  • @Doublecheesburger1 Well you're wrong.

  • @stockford In his opinion, so either keep your useless comments to yourself or say something constructive.

  • your videos are great amigo, saludos from EL SALVADOR

  • Great video's man . I subscribed . please subscribe back

  • I just picked up a 777-300 (not ER) as a 1:500 model, It's beautiful in BA colors

  • Which one of these 777s goes to Bermuda from Gatwick? Quite interested to know as I'm off there soon!

  • @AlansVlogs 777-200

  • Are British Airways getting a Boeing 747-800? That would be Amazing! Nice video. Please respond. Thanks,Ryan.

  • @Hydropump75 There is no such aircraft as the Boeing 747-800...perhaps you are thinking of the 747-8i? And to answer your question, no. BA has chosen the 787 and the A380...

  • do not mistake this for the original one.

  • DID YOU NOTICE THIS IS AN AMERICA FACTORY, AMERICA FLAG POSTED ALL OVER BUT HARD TO SPOT

  • @tintsap Yes but They dont build there airplanes at the place where the airline they are building it for is. Since it is a boeing 777 they build it in seattle washington. Probably at boeing field where they test it. Then they send it off to london and all major cities in the uk. Then they do it over again. Thats how the airlines get all their planes. Sorry if i mispelled some stuff.

  • I have to disagree with Tim...I think the music is fantastic. Well done!

  • This is one very "hospitable" video. =p

  • Love the response from BA to @tim60s321

  • What an awesome video. Just amazing to see like this. Thanks for sharing BA!

  • I usually fly Air France but technically the 777 is simply an awesome plane.

  • Stunning video. I will be flying this from Doha to Manila in a couple of weeks. Not BA, though. Don't even know if you have that route.

  • The B777 is Much Better than that B787 Delayliner rubbish that they made now, But Airbus is still the Best out there today....Thumbs up if u agree with me....

  • Niceeeee. Interesting video!

  • How do you fly a plane?

  • That was absolutely impressing!! I really want to fly British Airways! I hear it is the finest airline of the UK!

  • That's a very beautiful aircraft ^_^

  • Pity you chose the usual rubbish music to accompany a very interesting film-this is so common. Did you think this music will encourage us to fly BA?

  • @tim60s321 Hi, we're sorry you didn't enjoy the music. Thanks for your feedback though.

  • @tim60s321 Y U MAD BRO

  • @tim60s321 Really?

  • Best selling long-haul airliner.

  • I know this is a compleatly differnt subject, but what fleets of aircrafts have club zone?

  • <<<<3333333

  • really great plane but in the end the777-200LR shall always be the best

  • Greatest plane, best airline, keep it goin' !

  • I wonder if there was any Bolts left over? :-/

  • Well you know what they say....

    If it ain't Boeing, I ain't going!!

  • wonder how much those guys get paid to make those things.

  • When is BA due to have it's first A380 delivered ?

  • Does BA use the 777-300 on flights to london?

  • @scottragsdale35 Hi. It flies the London to Hong Kong route. Thanks.

  • @FlyBritishAirways Why is it on its way back from Mumbai as we speak then?

  • while it is true the a380 has more capacity than the boeing 748i the a380 is limited to the number of places it can go due to its size not so for the 748i and 777

  • hi, will you guys be getting any 747-8i's?

  • asa

  • Love the 777, Her engines are huge!

Lol sounds a bit weird if you have a small amount of imagination

  • I swear you already had the 777 and are you getting the 747-8 insted of the A380 Please answer!!!

  • @SVenables97 Hi. We will be getting the A380. You can see details of our current and future fleet in the 'about us' section og the IAG website iairgroup

  • @FlyBritishAirways Good! The A380 is bigger!

  • @SVenables97 yep 777 - 200 not 300 er pity not gettibg 747 rather than a380, hey ho

  • @SVenables97 They had (still do) the 777-200 series this is the 777-300ER (ER=Extra Range) Hope this helps

  • Amazing vid! I love the 777-300ER but I sure wish BA would decide to order 747-8I instead of just the A380...

  • @rockymountainrandom The 748I simply doesn't offer the pax capacity benefits of the A380, given BA's objectives of maximising profits at slot restricted Heathrow. That is one reason airlines are planning to fly more and more A380's out of Heathrow with the likes of Emirates going from a mixture of A380/777ERs to a 4x daily A380 to Dubai.

  • your wings are absolutely, positively......

    beautiful. :-)

    *Happy New Years*

  • Very nice vid answer my ? For years how many major parts need to attach to make a plane? I wish I can bring my car here for $50k paint job..... Awesome

  • British Airways pick up at hangar one your 777 is ready for pick-up... Thank you! lol. Neat.

  • is it just me or does the front of a 777 just say like "dont mess with me"? haha

  • @zachishellacool yep, agreed, 747 moreso!

  • 1:44 thats the interior of an Eva Air, not BA

  • awesome paint job

  • Ahhh,love that new plane smell. :)

  • I will love to work as pilot for British airways fly 777 or 747-400 my dream job

  • it is like making a cheeseburger

  • I have always wanted to be a pilot for Air Canada when I grow up and the Boeing 77 is my favorite airplane

  • Amazing quality!

  • The best in the business!

  • new Boeing 777-300ER made in 3:05 minutes! BRITISH AIRWAYS SIMPLY AMAZING

  • new Boeing 777-300ER made in 3:05 minutes! lol

  • 777 3x the 7!!!!

  • Who in their right mind would dislike this?

  • @Airshowlover100 Nineteen loyal Airbus employees. :-]

  • amazing! it looks so complex to build a single 777-300 ER

  • Cool

  • Very cool.

  • Now I can built planes by myself...

  • Hard question but: how many of your pilots fly the 777? No exact numbers needed, I'm more interested in the ratio.

  • nice lookin bird

  • Very Good

  • BOEING IS ROCK, BEST PLANES ON THE PLANET

  • Love this!

  • with me, 777 is always better than 787. very nice, great shape, attractive!!!!

  • My favorite plane!

  • the aircraft was finished in one day?

  • That was FAST lol

  • Was it built in the Everett Boeing Faculty or somewhere else.

  • Plane Beautiful

  • exelent introduce i love it

  • Hello BA:) Looking forward to fly with you soon Guys! :) FLY HIGH BRITISH AIRWAYS! :))

  • Can anyone tell me the name of the music?

  • @KeroChuK The music is a piece by Helen Long called 'Aviator'.

  • triple 7 is the best passenger aircraft in the world. 99.3% reliability rate.

  • Very nice video. Triple 7s are by far my favourite aircraft. I call them the sport version of airplanes!

  • no lego set can beat this!

  • One down more than 1000 to go.

  • so cool to see it being assenmbled out of thousands of parts and in the end flying away as a whole machine !!

  • British Airways, still my favourite airline, even if they aren't the world's.

  • Boeing or Airbus they both build wonderful aircraft. Some things I prefer with boeing some with Airbus. But here the 777 is definitely the leader in its class.

  • British Airways has always been loyal to Boeing who builds the best Airliners in the Sky.

  • @guitarstar717 not really, BA's Short Haul fleet is all AIrbus except a few 737s which are on the way out. They have also chosen the A380 as their flagship to fly their most prestigious routes, with the 787 as a key part of their plan, but not as prestigious as the A380.

  • One thing I always wondered was on the flight deck section.. is it pre-installed? So the cockpit comes in the part of the nose?

  • i have de plane model

  • @Indianmalujl Nope. The 767, and airbus a330 are both widebodies with twin engines.

  • how they made a plane in 2 mins I donot know. Jokes I want to be a BA pilot one day.

  • @NycDude66 same:)

  • What an incredible aircraft...

  • Love BA!

  • Only widebody commercial aircraft with only 2 engines :)

  • wow! love ittttt! i love british airways!!

  • British airways is the best way to fly!!

  • i love british airways!

  • i put my model together the same way...who knew??

  • Ge90-115b and Ge90-110b can be transported on the B747F with its fan blade removed

  • Boeing 777; The world's standard of long-haul airliners.

  • This is one of the only aircraft I am yet to fly on. Maybe one day... Great video.

  • Im 14 And I Really Want To Be A Pilot What Would I Need To Do ?

  • This reminds me of thunderbirds!

  • IMPRESIONANTE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • honestly I just cant see how airbus is even on the same level of boeing

  • BRITISH AIRWAYS = THE ART OF FLYING

  • WOW, the music is so annoying other than that it's great video

  • Great video... great airplane... but what is the name of the song?

  • i am 12 and i have the biggest dream to fly the boeing 747-400 british airways but i live in canada.

  • no doubt the best twinjet airliner next to the 787

  • nice music. I wonder what is the music title. Also, I love to fly the real 777.

  • wow looks so new cuz it is lol! I LUV BRITISH AIR!!! thumbs up if ur the same!

  • It's like a giant Airfix model...

  • That was quick

  • It is incredible that can get off the ground

  • Have to remind Boeing to increase the leg room, leg room in Boeing aircrafts are appalling. Well, BA has been operating a B777 from LON to Sydney for the last 6 years (22 hr flight). It's the longest B777 flight in the world.

  • @menukjau Boeing doesnt choose the leg room, the airline puts the seats where the want.

  • fun fact: the engine is so enormous that only the russians have a plane that can ship it to places (AN-225). pretty coollll

  • @EmergencyAlertFreak2 What about the Airbus Beluga and the Boeing 747 Dreamlifter, they could carry it no problem, the Beluga transports stuff for NASA.

  • @Zero7evenX the beluga only transports stuff for airbus such as the tail section of the A380 where as the dream lifter will transport stuff for nasa

  • @Zero7evenX The beluga can transport aircraft fuselages and wings; it's not an aircraft carrier. Same goes for the dreamliner; it's used to carry disassembled aircraft and aircraft components. The AN-225 can carry some aircraft on its back and has a cargo bay. Obviously, none of these aircraft can carry a fully-assembled plane.

  • so thats how you make a 777

  • Hi, we know you love your planes and wanted to let you know we've got a competition on Facebook to win a morning in a flight simulator.

If you live outside London, you'll also win tickets and 4 nights accommodation at The Park Plaza Victoria. For more details visit our page:

    facebook. com/britishairways

(Open to UK & US residents)

  • NICE

  • @donputo69 The 777 (301-365 pass.) is larger than the 787 (201-250 pass) Also the 777 has the worlds largest turbofan engines that set a Guinness world record of 127900 lbs of thrust in testing. They are certified at 115000 lbs each. The new 747-800 has the same engine as the 787 each rated at 67500 lbs of thrust. I think it's really cool that two triple-7 engines put out damn near as much thrust as four 747 engines

  • WICH ONE IS BIGGER? 777 OR 787?

  • DAMN. I flew on the 777ER recentl to the philippines, and let me tell you: out of all the planes Ive traveled on, this model was by far the smoothest, most advanced, and quickest plane Ive ever been on.

What is the name of this soundtrack?

  • Flew back on this aircraft from Narita to LHR. Had a great flight. Was amazing watching it being assembled. Although I presume it's had a new interior since then as it the seats look different in Economy now.

  • It's B777-200.

  • Best wishes to Scott Taylor.

  • @thiruardura :)

  • wheres the instruction manuel?

  • Shiney <3

  • nise

  • title: how to build a plane

  • I begin training to become a British Airways Engineer in September so hopefully I get to be hands on with these babies (:

  • I wonder if this is the one my dad flew over to London when they first built it? He worked for Boeing for 11 years in the late 90's and helped to build the 777.

  • how long does it take to make and paint one 777???

  • @74madman74 about 3 minutes and 5 seconds

  • I flew one of these ORD -> LHR in December 2010 to start our honeymoon. Best flight of my life, hands down.

  • Why is quieter better? Planes should be louder in my opinion

  • I would love to be part of the construction of something like this- it's absolutely incredible.

  • ive been wanting to fly since i was born i would like to pilot the 777

  • Hi i don't understand much of this, but in a week or so im flying to Hong Kong from vancouver, i was wondering 2 engines can match the speed of 4 engines? I think this is my first time flying international with 2 engines.

  • @curseknight5 Yes it can. It just really depends on how large the inlets are, amount of fuel, cargo and passengers on board. The 777's engines have larger inlets than most planes, allowing more speed.

  • @curseknight5 The amount of engines has absolutely nothing to do with cruising speed. What a novice comment. Cruising speed is dictated by several variables, but, thrust is the biggest. A GE90-115B has over 115,000lbs of trust. No other engine in production has anything close. But, the 747 technically has the highest cruising speed of any commercial airliner (Mach .92). This is due to the design of the wings which is optimized for high-speed flight.

  • Thumbs up if you've already been in the Boeing 777
