If you sit around worrying about IFs then nothing will ever change. Voting is the system we were given when our country was created. We either do what we can with it or revolt to affect change. The system may be in bad shape but I still think we can get a point across with it. If Ron Paul wins and Texas secedes, he won't do what Lincoln did, and order military force against them; RP has stated that secession is a right, and he will likely honor it, as did President Buchanan before Lincoln.

Ive been living in this country for over 10 years, and have never once voted nor have even registered to vote - because i feel (yes.. "feel" not felt) the same way. The system -is- screwed. However, I registered as a republican this election.. (the first time i have ever registered), solely so i can vote for Ron Paul as the next president. @Ulquiorraxz By the time Ron Paul is elected, there would have been enough people aware of how corrupt a lot of politicians are and vote for them not to be reinstated in their positions and vote for people they know are trustworthy. The next elections for congresspeople is in 2012 I think so there's a year or two that RP has to wait before there are cooperative people in Congress.

Couldn't be more wrong, cause they used the same system to set themselves up in power. When we have a president and an executive branch that writes legislation, the president can most certainly close down the federal reserve. Consider the fact Ron Paul gets more contributions from the military. When our brave young people get tired of dying for chicken hawk leaders, they could possibly revolt. If Ron Paul wins and Texas secedes, he won't do what Lincoln did, and order military force against them; RP has stated that secession is a right, and he will likely honor it, as did President Buchanan before Lincoln.

Hi Nick, thank you for this video, i for one (as a voter) appreciate you posting it because you make an extremely superb and valid point that many RP supporters seem to be chastising you for.. which i find.. odd and contradictive to RP's entire campaign.. but as he would say "*shrug* it's your right to do so.. and i can do nothing but support that."
It feels like 300+ Ron Paul supporters dont.. quite understand why RP is running for a chance to change this country in the first place..

Ive been living in this country for over 10 years, and have never once voted nor have even registered to vote - because i feel (yes.. "feel" not felt) the same way. The system -is- screwed. And it is our constitutional right to go outside of this "system" to seek restitution.. I mean.. you are 100% correct, this system is pretty much a facade.

However, I registered as a republican this election.. (the first time i have ever registered), solely so i can vote for Ron Paul as the next president. If he can (and has) remained consistant his entire career in his views the way that he has been, which is more than anyone can say about any other candidate (even the candidates themselves), than I want to give him that chance to change this system. As i feel he is the only candidate worth voting for..

@Ulquiorraxz By the time Ron Paul is elected, there would have been enough people aware of how corrupt a lot of politicians are and vote for them not to be reinstated in their positions and vote for people they know are trustworthy. The next elections for congresspeople is in 2012 I think so there's a year or two that RP has to wait before there are cooperative people in Congress.

And don't bitch about the way things are if the only thing your doing is posting a video with your opinion try to actually deliver a change or contribute to the community you live it cuz that's were it starts. I recently helped get together a civilian review unit for our local judicial system and arrest and crimes rates have dropped by 13% in my town. Which led to a budget increase for local schools. It starts by organizing and taking a stand in the town you live in so be proactive
