  • Thank you

  • I love you , Baator !

  • dọng ca của e rất tuyệt

  • I LOVE YOU , KID !

  • come back to the motherland my little brother why stay in a place where the people hate you and dont care what happens to you im praying for you my little brother

  • You can tell alot from someone's face and from baatar I thought he was stronger and hardened for his young years, less open and alert and calculating. It seems He had already built walls around him when he was only 12. I think Uudam was lucky to have undergone such trauma and come out relatively intact

  • Awesome. And the comments are really helping me with info. Okay its not good to compare them... But for this particular song, baatar's voice seems to have more depth. My mum likes UUDAM better but maybe I just like throaty stuff ahahaha!

  • Anyone has this song s relic ?

    original Mongolian

    Thank you

  • I know the story behind Uudam but what's the story about Baator?

  • @Narutothebestshow

Baator comes from a poor family living in a yurt on the Hulunbeier Plain.

The animals that the family herd actually belongs to someone else.

He has tamed a number of wild horses & delivered lambs by himself before age 12,

    a cowboy by necessity really.

He auditioned for a children's choir called "WuCai Hulunbeier" (Colorful Hulunbeier)

and was accepted as THE lead singer for

this song "Mother In the Dream (Mother Faraway)".

  • @Narutothebestshow

Uudam was also accepted in the same choir.

Incidentally he was one of the backing vocalists for this song.

Baator's voice broke about 2 years into the choir & he had to move on.

However his talent secured him a spot in a music school.

I believe there are good people, maybe even the local government,

looking after his education & development.

  • @Narutothebestshow

Baator's mother is alive and well unlike Uudam's, but

Baator has been hardened by life in a way much different from Uudam.

I attribute the different styles of singing to their different circumstances.

Narutothebestshow, thanks for giving me the opportunity to think it over & write in English

for those who can't read Chinese.

  • @harryhatesspam Thank you for responding. Another question, how old will Baator be now?

  • @Narutothebestshow

    My pleasure :-)

Baator Dorji is 17. He was born on 1993.7.14.

  • @harryhatesspam Has anyone heard from him since he left the choir? I wonder how his singing skills are, and what he looks like...

  • @Narutothebestshow

Yes, Baator is studying hard in school I believe. You can see what he looked like about 6 months ago at v=cJERt-XDYmk. At the time he was shown Uudam's "Broadcast" performance and then asked for his thoughts.. He also sang a little bit in the segment.

  • @harryhatesspam what hardships has baator had?

  • @studiobuddy

Baator's poor family herds sheep on the remote plains for a living. The sheep belong to someone else. Since age 8, Baator has won horse-riding contests, tamed 3 wild horses & delivered kiddy goats by himself. He is not an orphan but his parents are often far away.

  • lời bài hát rất ý nghĩa :D

  • This song is incredible and full of emotion.

  • @dimja2

I would be grateful if you can elaborate a little more.

"What kind of accent?" Ewenki? Chinese?

    Thanks in advance!

  • stop comparing them. these two boys both have lovely voice and each voice has its own story to be told.

  • @pak13s

    You are wise. Thank you.

  • Really enjoyed the countryside and family scenes with this video. Brings back so many precious memories of Mongolia and Mongolian people.

  • Does anyone don't know Uudam's voice from Talent SHOW first round is not real? I went to the Final Round and listened to him singing, and there is no way to compare with Baator Dorji.

  • mp3 download

    pls pm me

  • Uudam is more handsome and his voice can moves people's hearts, so Uudam all the way!!!

  • I don't know why people bring out the comparison between Baator and Uudam. But I prefer more Uudam. Uudam very lovely and when I heard the song Uudam song I cried. Uudam really convey the feeling body into it. I love Uudam so much

  • He sings very well but I think I enjoy Uudam voice although he is not trained well like baator. But I cry , totally impressed , his feeling , his memory about mother was combined into the song . Uudam has true feeling !!!!!

  • @hoangvu1209

If I am not mistaken, Uudam actually has had more training than Baator. Baator was basically a cowboy wailing his feelings, with little time under training before his voice changed & he was forced to leave the choir. Uudam has had some years under training though. I agree that Uudam has a lot more sensitivity and depth of feeling in his song & appeals to my softer side in a way Baator never could.

  • I've been trained for classical singing. The difference between uudam and Baator is the former sings from his 單田, through the nostril to the head (that is how we professionally trained), while Baator sings from his throat, like yelling in the wilderness. Professionally speaking, Uudam's singing skill is more appealing to judges no matter what his story s. Baator sings like Hong Kong singer Lo Kun Ting. No matter what, everybody has his preference to enjoy Jevlhan's masterpiece.

  • @ceciliashu05 @ceciliashu05

Yes I think your keen observation is true. Because Uudam has been professionally trained for a long time, and if you watch Baator's interview, you'll discover that Baator is just a herdsman-in-training. I totatlly agree that Jevlhan should be thanked for bringing everyone this song, and that everybody is entitled to have his or her preference. Both boys sing so well it's like comparing apples to oranges.

  • Which version do you prefer Baator's, Uudam or Jevlhan's?

  • @itskangaDREWkun

I thank Jevlhan for bringing this wonderful song to the world and to Baator & Uudam,

I thank Baator for a wonderful musical banquet that is satisfying even to the soul.

My heart goes out to Uudam and I admire him for his courage, heavens bless him.

All that said, I prefer Baator's version. And you if I may ask?

  • I really like this song. Where can I download this song?

  • @asianmoviefreak

Probably your usual channels will do

    ...wink wink...

  • for wudamu is just simply a child...a child that missed his mother and just let it be...just a child.......

  • @koreahankok : Uudamu voice not bad and his visual very touched, but Baator is better in voice

  • @ingincobalagi

I love Baator's performance more also, although I have to admit Uudam's performance might seem more touching to most people, especially after they've heard his sad story.

I prefer the real one, so touching..

  • @zjw7751

    Me too :-)

  • hi i m mongolian.so i can know who is singing.Uudam has lower softer bit than Baatar.Baatar has more stronger voice.i think Uudam sang the song by himself at the show.i don t think it is replaced by Baatar.if it is did why?it doesn t make sence.it is just a public show!i think chinece gov doesn t have time to take care every single things.anyway chinise gov does more bad more big things....

  • @213mgl

Uudam sang for real at the show but his voice was overdubbed with Baator's in the broadcast version for TV audience. It IS replaced by Baator's voice.

Baator Dorji & 五彩呼倫貝爾合唱團 both confirmed that the voice in the broadcast version belongs to Baator. Please do your research and post your questions to the TV station / Talent Show. Thank you.

  • oh my god...i feel completely fooled. i actually thought uudamu was singing. it really sucks that china dubbed his voice. they shouldn't have done that. it's like exploiting the poor kid. it's not like uudamu has a bad voice either. i heard a performance of him singing the same song when he was younger and it was great too.

  • @TheLocalcat : If on recording, maybe Uudamu voice good enough. This Baatar voice is recorded Bro...!

  • @TheLocalcat : In another show, Uudamu voice good enough. Please don't think like that!!

  • Uudamu voice not bad Bro......Please dont think like that

  • @ingincobalagi i know...it's okay i already heard his original performance (without dubbing) :)

  • the pure wudamu voice without music during the talent show sounds weird, can't keep tune right. Actually, never mind. This is just a Chinese show, just liek Olympic Opening, the fake voice fool the whole world. Why not ask them to come out sing for every one to compare? or themselves to clarify the truth? We should not be loyal to a commercial show. So we shouldn't bother. If it is cooked, it was a good chef thou.

  • @mudscorp

By the way, you DO know that 烏達木 and 巴特爾道爾吉 have different dialects (Khalkha & Barga respectively) & Mongolian Youtubers know the difference?

  • @mudscorp There is NO way anyone can confuse 巴特爾道爾吉 with 烏達木, I agree.

Sorry to delete your 3rd post! I consider 3 consecutive posts to be the so-called "SPAM", and I hate "SPAM"

    (harryhatesspam, get it? ;-)).

May I suggest you post up your own videos to assert your allegations? Thank you.

  • this singer wasn't from the china got talent 12 years old "Wudamu", was it?

  • @furififitjhen No, this singer named 巴特爾道爾吉 is the actual singer in the "Broadcasted" version of "Wudamu"'s 中國達人秀 performance. What happened was that "Wudamu" did sing for real, but his voice was inexplicably replaced with this boy's studio recording before broadcast. You can find "Wudamu"'s actual performance in my channel.

  • I wish I understand Mongolian, but thanks anyhow :-)

  • hytaduud goe hiisen bn shuu negch udaa gesen hehe Nice
