  • Hush were a great band, produced by Albert Hammond, who had a string of hits himself, because he was very talented. The band was Chris Anslow- vocals, John Beaty - guitar, "Twiggy" Wood - keyboard, Geof Smith - bass guitar and Mac Poole - drums. 4 from Birmingham and Twiggy from London. Originally it had been a rhythm section and various other musicians but the lineup became the one listed. I know the story because I started the band and I am the drummer. Mac Poole

  • Imagine Dave Grohl singing this song in The Foo Fighters: I guess he took his style from there. Great rock song.

  • @hardstuff72 if you want a somewhat modern feel, you may check out Sebadoh's "Flame", im not sure if they sampled or looped the backbeat from this song, but it sounds like they did

  • @tyroncenidas

    Definitely lol!

  • What a tune. Lyrics are great and the guitar stabs like a hot knife. Respect.

  • I've been waiting so long for someone to upload this awesome slice of British freakbeat. Thanks!
