  • Great job. I just recommend changing your white balance on the camera, so can get a very bright white on your pics. If you notice on the gummyvites, the background is not white. Look for the setting on your camera for the white balance, even the cheap cameras have that option and play around with it. Good Luck!!!!

  • Good job; but i am looking for nice old lady at the shop every time i met young ladies please help me out :P

  • good presentation

  • good job impressive how a child of this age dont "lags" i mean when he is speaking in front of the camera subbed!

  • Yep, the placement of the lights is quite wrong. You will have harsh shadows.

  • Great job young man...except for the light placement.

Anyone who is critical of a someone of his age trying to do good and actually teach somebody something is a total loser! Get a life...this kid is going to have a great one...no he already does!

    So, thanks man!!!!

  • good job young man

  • Great idea. You are an outstanding presenter. Thanks!

  • Lol your shirt is more Bright then anyone could ask for. Nice you got daddies help on the side. Hahaha I want a tattoo trace box make that next without the shirt or daddies permission.

  • @monii0610 The sad part is, this kid is making videos that actually help people, while you benefit no one with your comments. Don't be jealous because his father helps him out.

  • @monii0610 your shirt is more bright than anyone could ask for.

  • Nice vid how much all that cost

  • Good day. Nice tutorial! BUT! you misunderstood the proper use of a light box (and basically defeated the purpose). You're not suppose to place the lights directly in front of of the object like how you placed them in this video. The object will still get direct light and there will be a hard shadow. You're supposed to put the lights on the outside of the cloth (left and right). The cloth will defuse the light so there will be nice soft shadows. (Not like the photos you've included at the end).

  • very good job. i don't need a light box right now, but i can coming back here when i need one in the future. Great show and 15,000 viewings...impressive. I also suggest you read ALL the comments. If the criticisms are warranted leave them. Otherwise, just delete the comments that are plain nasty. again, very good job.

  • Excellent video and great job! well done :)

  • First of all, great job with the video. But I want to point something out: the whole point of building the light box is so you can diffuse the light. You're supposed to shine the lights through the covered sides of the box (most people use tissue paper, but you used a cloth; if the cloth is sheer/thin enough, it should be fine). This might help with the yellowing, if you move the lights to the other sides (clamp to table?) and shine them through the cloth. Get something else to clamp the cloth.

  • This is one of the best light box videos I have found, I am glad to see someone so young teaching us older kids, haha. Keep up the great work!!

  • hey man this is..... really professional. im impressed keep it up ull go some where in live :P

  • damn i thought it was a tracing light box :P

  • @margemills24 im not insecure i no im perfect :D

  • @sniffdawgable Yes, you are .... a perfect ass

or you wouldnt write things like that to a young man trying his best, there was no call for such language.

  • i wana punch u

  • Wonderful! Thank you! Now I can make one for my KID's project. Thank you!

  • Forget the nasty comments, young man. You did a really impressive job on this video, not only demonstrating how to put a simple light box together, but also providing a list up front of the materials one would need and a "before-after" demo of the result you get. The "yellowing" issue people mentioned probably has to do with the type of light bulb used. These could be altered to get different effects. Well done, sir.

  • Images came out too yellow. Good effort but those clamp lights and bulbs suck.

  • @muffemod The video camera was excellent and white but the gummy vites came out too yellow xD
