  • lol for the first 2 seconds I was like damn this guys a mechanical genius. cars bikes and planes?

  • I have flown this model for 7 months with no landing issues, land on the rear wheels 1st then bring down the front and all will be well...check my vids.

  • @SICMRR My "runway" is short, but there are trees on each end of it. I'm a helicopter pilot. Planes I'm still learning to plan further ahead. I'm glad you're getting good use of yours. I'm abandoning the landing gear all together and putting ski's on it.

  • I think I would have just added an extra servo to serve just the steerable front wheel. Your control rod is just too long which is why it is discombobulating the front wheel. I would mount the servo as close to the front as possible to make for a short control rod.

  • @dojmike Maybe like a "Y" splitter on the same rudder channel?

  • @briansmobile1 Precisely. The challenge would then be where to mount the servo. Maybe just cut out a piece of thin modeling plywood to frame the servo and then epoxy the plywood to the foam. Happy flying!

  • @dojmike I'm telling you the next time that plane goes airward it's coming down full of bullet holes. This Flyzone plane is a P.O.S. designed to fail and make the hobby store money on parts. BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

  • @briansmobile1 Hey, be sure to make a video of the ground to air assault. If you have a good shooter, then you shouldn't need the landing gear after all.

  • @dojmike So far Rylan, Chaz, and Kary1982 have volunteered. And the decided weapon is .22 cal. It's slated for the beginning of August.

  • I want to get into model R/C airplanes soo bad.

  • looking forward to seeing this one fly.

  • @kary1982v6 Do you want to come? I have an extra .22. We'll be doing it like 8 am out by Saratoga Springs in August.

  • @briansmobile1 Let me know the date when it gets closer.. I would feel guilty flying you plane but maybe I will have a goof off plane together by then..

  • couldent you move the servo closer to the wheel instead so that it dont flex that amount

  • @transdetendal that could throw off the CG. may be even more work than it is worth.

  • @transdetendal That servo does the tail rudder and the front landing gear too. So being close to one makes you far from the other- great question!

  • @briansmobile1 hmm i see your problem then , i didnt know it had 2options

  • @transdetendal Really that IS a good question. I encourage asking questions AND double checking things.

  • ceramic cut off tool on wood haha lazy :P

and that one on the roof looks awesome :)

  • @Shroffff I guess I just like the smell?

  • @briansmobile1 yh when i am grinding and turn off the grinder i dig the disc into some wood to slow it down for the smell :P

  • @Shroffff Thas wham talk'n bout!

  • @briansmobile1 good point but its so much faster with toothed blade lol but spose it was easier for you using the grinder :)

  • can you make it drop water baloons?? LOL

  • @frankie2234 The plan for this POS is take it out to the desert, hand launch it and shoot it down!

  • @briansmobile1 PLEASE bring a camera when you do this!

  • @beefystik will do!

  • was there another plane on the ceiling? and any palns to try this new contruction?

  • @BernDPeter I took it out and flew it and it landed well once, and the second time OK. The third time it was slated for a shoot down in the desert! The dang front gear broke.

  • @briansmobile1 , dang that's frustrating ! just watched the vid again, did you really said the "hallo" in a kinda germancian way ?

  • first :)

  • @catch22678 You are the WINNER!
