@wesyesart This scene is a tribute to the original - he starts by breaking its jaw and then possibly snaps its neck, works the jaw to make sure it's dead, gives it a little shake then roars and beats his chest. Not sure why Peter Jackson felt the need to make him fight 2 more in an over-the-top fight scene following this. Slightly extending this fight would have been sufficient imho - but then I felt this whole movie was little over done (great film, just too much of everything).

@GermanSpinosaurus I always hated this part because i know full well, better than most (being a paleo major) that the bite of a T-Rex, much less a V-Rex (which is its bigger descendant) is the most powerful bite in the history of the planet - 20 tons upper estimate for T-Rex, more so for V-Rex....thats enough to cut a car in half or bite through a steel plate or solid bone - so the second it bit Kong, his bones would have snapped like kindling, no matter how strong his muscles are.
