@PacGuy765 OutRun Online Arcade was removed from PSN store back in 2010 for PS3 as the Ferrari License had run out. Still available till Dec 2011 on XBOX 360 tho and will be removed for the same reason. Grab it will you can!

@Umdlye well... all their games has terrible graphics... they try to reach up to sony n microsoft but they failed. especially w/ the wii. I like the classic nintendo games, like pokemon, mario bros, dr. mario etc... but when they try to make modern-like games, they failed miserably. say like little big planet, if you know it... it's a complete rip off of super mario bros, but i fall in love w/ it. awesome game. they take the classic n take it to a whole new level.

@Philawockeez They call it video 'Games' for a reason. It's not all about the graphics. Also, how in the hell is LBP like Super Mario Bros. That's like saying The Getaway is a rip off of GTA. They're similar, much like sonic is to Mario, or Outrun is to Ridge Racer.

Besides, Nintendo and Sega are more family friendly and are for a bit of fun. I'm a PlayStation and Nintendo fan. Don't be so biased

After playing Outrun Online Arcade for Xboxlive Arcade I just had to purchase this for my original Xbox! Plus it's a rare game for Xbox so I had to have it.

@RontheHybrid rare maybe... but when you own 3 copies from the golden days it was more a case that this game is so friggin awesome that one faulty scratched disc would have me in tears so I bought some more lol. Enjoy, OR2006 has it all + more!!! It will run on xbox 360, but it's not emulated very well. In fact 1st play you may have to wait around 1 minute for it to load a stage, after that it will be fine...

All people who wants to play outrun2006 online Then listen! There is a way by a virtual LAN Server, online!

Instructions:

Type to google: Download hamachi 1.0.1.5 > When downloaded, Start hamachi > turn "power on" (its the button at low left corner) > Select the triangle at low right corner and select "join server" Then type the server name and password (see below)> then start Outrun2006 and go to online and there lan and see if any server is online.

NETWORK: outrun2006party

PASSWORD: 123

@bachterman there are a good number of mistakes from hitting traffic, missing the stage-out bonus leaving Ice Scape, running on the white zig-zag lines and much more... At the time (4 years ago from the time of posting this) it was a good all round video display of what could be done, not far off the worlds arcade best from Japan. Today this video is viewed by it's creator as nothing more than average... More secrets were discovered and later fine tuned with OutRun Online Arcade (XBOX 360). ;-)

Also search for "Hina", "MBK GIL" for other OutRun2 & OutRun2SP arcade replays. Search "SPENCE2K6" and your find some nice OutRun Online Arcade Time Attack replays done on PS3.

As you see in the vid, yes you will/can crash. It's an arcade racer - one of the best mind. Good and fair PC setup it will run nice. Game was made for Windows XP, I have no idea if it runs on Windows 7.

Sega 'the' arcade innovators who gave us Space Harrier gave us OutRun in that order. OutRun came about after Yu Suzuki watched the movie: The Cannonball Run. Once the game was up and running he felt the scenery didn't change much so he revised and collected data from Europe.
