My birthday is September 11th; yesterday was an even worse bummer than usual, being the 10th anniversary of the attacks. I feel sorry for the victims' families; all the networks were grabbing for big ratings this year, each of them trying to out-do the other to get the most maudlin or gaudy programming on the air (and of course, it's cheap programming too, since most of it is archival footage). Fighting over the victims' blood trying to be the most patriotic. Grotesque and disgusting.
