Hollywood doesn't make sense to me. Movies have become more about making money than entertaining the audience. Yet, they've gotten worse. How does that work? Do they not realize that if they make a GOOD movie it will bring in more revenues over a longer period of time? Take District 9. It had a tiny budget and tripled its cost in the opening week. Movies don't have to cost a lot to be good. But Hollywood doesn't seem to realize that a film can still suck even with a huge budget.

shootouts are pretty mindless sometimes. And its pretty good to see tactics during shootouts as well. What I'm trying to say is, the gun action in the movie is not very satisfying for me since I only see 'em shoot a few people in the movie. It should be an action movie.

they never were on the same scene they acted in the movie however there characters never met since one played the other one{s father in his youth, however the did share the scenes on "heat" which was directed by michael mann and was actually good but personally lacked credibility at th end , however its a movie worth watching

So how this movie can be "great" (as you said) whereas at the start we can see De Niro saying: "MY NAME IS DAVID FISK... at that time I've killed 14 people" ? And AL PACINO is credited as "Rooster David Fisk! SO WE KNOW WHO IS THE KILLER at the begining! OR MAY BE Pacino is named ROOSTER during all this movie until the end?

yes technically they were both in "godfather 2" but their scenes were filmed seperately because their characters were in two different time periods. de niro in the past as a young vito corleone and pacino in the present as young michael corleone.
