  • If I want to put lime, I use the lime peel. I line the pan with the peel and put the caramelized sugar with it. There are many variations to make leche plan; this is a basic recipe.

  • If you live in the US you can use buttermik or half and half instead of evaporated milk or whole milk.

  • Thanks. Just to let you know, you can also bake the leche flan.

    Bake 35-45 minutes at 350F pre-heated oven. Bake the flan on top of a cookie tray with 1/2 inch tap water.
