md-11 and dc-10 are the same aircraft the only difference is the md-11 has winglets most md-11's and dc-10's are now mainly used for cargo transport after united 232 crashed the only airlines that would still use them for passenger service are one who cant afford newer planes and choose to fly with old equipment

I think it must have been windshear. It is that feeling you get in heavy turbulence when it feels like the plane is dropping. You can see by the weather in the video that it is very windy.

My theory is that the plane crashed because it was pushed down towards the ground by huge windshear gusts.

@jeferaibak To keep it simple and short, they were landing in a typhoon and the pilot flying didn't control the descent rate which resulted in a very hard landing. The hard landing sheered the right gear and snapped the right wing.

the plane was comming too fast with a high vertical speed so the woman senced the crash before the flames.This is pretty commom from people who are or have been close to planes and the way they work...I would have notice the crash 4 seconds before it occoured...
