Ah, I apologize. I gave some wrong instructions, my thoughts were on another video.

Do triangle air attack when BoO is your active weapon. Then follow it with Poseidon's Rage at the end of the air attack. Then switch sub-weapon until you are back to BoO. If you time switching sub-weapon correctly, Poseidon's Rage cancels before you even see its effects and you can repeat this trick.

Oh that.

The most common long jumps are simply mashing triangle or square, depending if you're wielding SoD or BoO. If you do this from the first jump, you can jump again mid-air after switching sub-weapons.

You are talking about the jump on this video? You must use Poseidon's Rage at the end of every attack (and cancel it with a weapon switch) to keep Kratos from not falling down. The timing is difficult, but I recall that you don't have to worry about quickly pressing R2 like this.

it can't durig the fight. i just jumped over the boss to get to the phoenix. the bridge only unfolded when i got to the phoenix

Ok, so any skips near there can't be done in normal play.

don't try it akheon. reaching the phoenix will not work because the floor is not yet solid ground. i already tried this with cheats. infinite high jump code. it only worked when i did it during the kraken boss fight. at least i skipped the boss though.

the stairs where you climb to battle the soldiers on the vines at the agean sea can be skipped by doing a pr less high jump at the part of this that is away from the ladder. there is a ledge there to grab. and lastly you can skip the stairs at the part where you have to climb up to reach the boat of athens by holding triangle at the right spot where you would climb the ladder.

when you get to coh. also for COM with the first barrier you can just use one abl. it's faster because it requires 0 pr's. also the pop up at the beginning of the game where you push the box can be skipped by pressing r2 just before actually aproaching the box. and you can skip the cutscene with medusa's gaze by quickly using high jump, then double jumping over the trigger. this can work because of the loading trigger here.

akheon, i just discovered a new sequence break at coh where you have to ressurect the statue. run in the water with boa, then do the uber jump. after that use abl to reach up there, when you reach that far, then can you make a vid of it. it might be faster.

Nah. Air grabs won't activate the mini-game to ride him. You need to have solid ground under you.

I don't think PR can be cancelled by any weapon switch. Like

PR>start>Switch subweapon>start won't result in a cancle out.

The switch has to be done right as PR begins. The timing is difficult. You have to press start long before you even do PR.

Never managed to make a long jump in GOW II, only high jumps

Kill all the soldiers right next door.

When you finish killing the soldiers holding the door begin the dialogue.

As you are near the door you can open the door during the conversation of the soldiers.

A jump/Icarus Lift to cyclecancel leads to the blade riding/gliding glitch and will stop up attempts (in my version) at such an exploit.

It's not even *apprently* a loading thing or I could just stay at the puase screen longer until it was ready (like with IJ). Pity isn't it?
