The Best Candidate to support "Seniors" is Ron Paul. The chief reason seniors have to depend on gov't healthcare is the shear cost (opportunity costs and residual costs) of gov't regulation. Those industries that have limited gov't regulations prices go down as tech goes up. I.E Computer Hardware and Software industries. My husband is 60 yrs old and I am 57,we both worry about our Health Care Plans,we both greatly agree that it is time for Congress to listen to the older generation,and give us what we deserve.We both belong to AARP,and with AARP support,we can all fight this issue with Congress.This video was really hit the issue about our problem. The problem is the insurance companies -- the middlemen -- skimming 30% profit and overhead off the top of every health care dollar, and hiking doctors' costs because they have to hire so much billing staff to fight with insurance companies for payment. We need to remove the profit motive from the life or death process of providing health care. And AARP has to start lobbying for the benefit of its members -- for single-payer health care for all -- instead of its insurance company partners.

Universal health care = medical, drugs, dental, vision = one payer, through the government. We have billions to give to our war machine, to ear marks, and able to pay for scoundrels in congress with health care for life, yet we don't have the brains or courage to fight for our own. I find this ad confusing and vague. Who are the bad guys? On one hand it says the drug companies and later says the government should help pay for drugs. It appears that our congress is lax in addressing critical health care issues for our young and old. Every member of AARP and those that read/view this video ahould contact their respective elected officials to ask them to correct this short coming.
