Lol, actually, it's better that it wasn't your dog cause I read that your dog can actually be useful in the game whereas the cat isn't really useful at all XD I got this glitch with my horse, it got stuck in the corner of my stable and I jumped on it and started to ride it away but I was riding on thin air, and every time I jumped off of 'thin air' I'm stuck in the 'pushing the horse' mode so I couldn't run fast... (Shakes head) So many glitches in this game, lol.

I knew about this glitch already. You can avoid it later by making sure your animals aren't in a construction area when you're getting something done. It happened to me too, but the problem sorted itself out because after a season or so the cat got out on his own.

This glitch CAN be undone I just undid it! You equipt the Touch Screen Glove then use it like you would normally, except at the bench where the cat is, and voila! Once you are done you can put your cat down on the floor and do the usual stuff with it! Hope this helped!
