Only thing is, the forks don't seem to be the dual-rate-control-valve ones like on the rest of the 2012 range. If you buy the Slash then for 2013 they upgrade the forks to DRCV it will be a bit of a bummer! Still a nice-looking machine, though.
@hoodlumzed Looks like your right. From the TREK dealer website it lists the fork as "Fox Factory Series 36 Talas FIT RLC w/air spring, Kashima coat, alloy E2 tapered steerer, 20QR, 120-160mm travel adjust, tuned by Trek in California". So it appears the DRCV isn't available with the Talas, only the Float. However, I still think that the bike would handle wonderfully. It's not a dealbreaker for me.
