I attended this funeral and I am a member of New Birth. It was a long but amazing experience. I wanted to be able to tribute my day to Mrs. King for all the sacrifices she has made. That was the least I could give.

The funeral lasted for hours. It was held at New Birth Baptist Church In Lithonia, Ga. In January here in Atlanta, it gets dark about 5:30pm. Also, birds don't fly in the dark thats why they landed in the tree.

Thank you so much Spidercrunk for sharing this footage. This is footage that even the media didn't bother to share I wonder why? Coretta and her daughter Yolanda will surely be missed. The King family will forever be the foundation that our black race can look up to for encouragement. Martin Luther King stood up way before his time to fight for peace and equality. She was a very important of AMERICAN history.. and she love all races, she & Dr. King not only stood up for the rights of African Americans, but for CIVIL RIGHT of all people, Latinos, Gays, Blacks, Native American, & Disabled, Unions, Education ..
