As he admits here, Hughes never seems to follow MMA unless he's on the card. I honestly think that the only reason he fights is to support his farm and kids through his prize money. He's in a position to make big money, so he does. The sport and the fighting itself don't seem to do much for him now (if ever). If I'm right, I can't blame him - it's hard to make a privately owned farm profitable, and college tuitions aren't getting any lower.
I don't want to see women in the UFC because I want to see the best fighters in the world fight each other. The fact is, if women started fighting in the UFC there would be countless male audience members could beat the shit out of them in a fight. And ? Royce & Ken fought opponents from the beginning that wern't well round like today yet there consider pioneers and Legends to the sport. Even the greats that were on the top at one time (boxers & mma fighters) lose at times in the end of there careers when they face new younger envolved better fighters. And just cause they lose dont mean they suck. Many old greats lose at the twilight of there careers. Give Hughes some respect as a fighter man.

He's just stating his personal preference. It's not something he wants to see or would ever seek out as a form of entertainment. It's an understandable opinion, even if we may disagree. Many people think the same about MMA as a whole.
