I think it's a pygmy loach. I had one just like it- great for eating snails and good characters. I hope your plants didn't die- they make a very impressive backdrop.

Hate to say it dude but a lot of your plants are semi aquatic and will die soon underwater, the shops jip a lot of people off with them plants!

Angels and neons are a no no, neons are their natural prey in the amazon, eventually they will hunt and eat them. Discuss with neons are a no no, Discus require higher heat, minimum of 82, and neons colder. Red crabs with small fish, no no. They will eventually get lucky at night as the fish sleep and get'em, if your crab hasn't escaped from your tank yet. You should raise the temp, get your Discus, and forget neons and focus on Angels instead.

well you could feed them a diet of live foods or frozen ones like bloodworm and many fish'll go for cucumber and other veg.

Nice tank. How do you stop your crab from eating the plants? I would love a crab in my aquarium, but I'm told they eat everything, plants and fish.

what type of substrate is that, white fine stones?, and do you use C02 for the plants? I wanna get some live plants and am a little unure of which plants are hardier than others and what it takes to keep them alive.

The plant with lots of leaves at the back on the left hand side is plastic, i bought it to cover and hide the heater and filter, all the rest are real plants which i bought cheap enough :)

you could get some more pakistani loaches because they like it better in a group i was told and they odnt grow that big (~3"), i have 4 and they play with each other etc so yeah

I dont know anything about bamboo shrimps, theres a couple of inches of air space which you cant see due to the water line being covered by the hood, he climbs up the plants or air lines in corner of tank to sit on top of filter or the actual plant when he wants to dry off. I really need to make better qaulity vid asap :)

No, he as a half hearted snap of his claws if they come close but always too slow for them, he spends most of his time sitting on the plants or filter drying out on the surface.

thats really cool. im gonna be getting crabs soon. I herd they get along with bamboo shrimp. So where is the place that the crab can go get air? all i see is water in the tank

Thanks for comment, the larger angel fish died, the smaller angel is a fully grown small to medium sized angel, i am hoping when i can find some local stock to get a couple more smaller angels but i am finding them hard to get hold of :( id really like a couple of small discus :)

Your angelfish will eventually grow up ant eat all your neons and fancy guppys! Anyways just taught you should know!
