  • Stunning.

  • Is this commercially available??? it should be

  • fantastic...I just listened to springsteen.PH is better!!!

  • Pete was a gentle and beautiful soul.

  • Wonderful, thanks for sharing

  • For every classic that Pete Ham wrote and performed, there are at least five that should have been but never were. I love the way he wrote lyrics too - direct, yet always being a little mysterious too. Thankfully we have performances like this to remember Pete (and Tommy) by. Pete's best songs, including this one, are good enough to rival Lennon/McCartney. Too many of the great artists leave us far too soon.

  • amazing performance, no effects just true talent

  • Bravissimo, splendido, magnifico, eccezionalmente!

  • God bless Dan Matovina! And I reserve judgement for Stan Polley, piece of shit he was.

  • Love hearing Pete and Tom singing together at the end.

  • I have always loved his smooth, beautiful voice. Could listen to him all day. Wish there were home video's of him.

  • @Nikisright I feel exactly the same way..........

  • It doesn't get better than this folks. Sheer brilliance....rave on Pete.

  • Gorgeous. Beautiful in its simplicity.

  • Sometimes I think I should unsubscribe from the Badfinger message board because every new bittersweet post brings a tear to my eye. Thanks so much for keeping Pete's legacy alive.

  • Pete Ham was a natural. As a live singer or live guitar player. I'm always so impressed. Big inspiration for me. I wish I had half his talent. Love your videos, Dan. Let's get some more demos out. 7 Park Avenue is now big collectors item on EBAY.

  • Beautiful. just beautiful.

  • Hi Dan,thank you so much for this lovely upload! Never heard a live version before,it is very touching to hear Pete singing his beautiful song in concert!

  • Pretty good, on par with the BBC version from '72.

  • Pete was the greatest musician with the most talent in his group. This is a wonderful recording of Pete Live from Badfingers golden era! We miss Pete

    so very, very much. Zig

  • Well this just made my day...thanks Dan.

  • Thanks for posting, it is always great to hear more Badfinger

  • One of my Fave voices OF ALL TIME.

    Thanks

  • Stunning,what a singer Pete Ham was.Thanks for sharing.

  • This actually brought tears to my eyes. Why was he the one to be sacrificed? And it did nothing. Polley lived to be over 80. Apple and The Beatles said nothing. Everyone wanted to wash their hands of him, it seems. Was he right in his suicide note? "I WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO LOVE AND TRUST EVERYBODY" Forty years later, seems so, doesn't it? Bless you for this, Dan Matovina. Keep carrying the torch. And ignore the jealous a-holes.

  • That's: Pete Ham on 12 string guitar & Vocal

Tom Evans on Guitar & Vocal

Joey Molland on Electric Guitar Lead

    Mike Gibbins on Percussion

    Long live Badfinger
