To my earlier comment, I would also like to add that if it was in fact fluid that had frozen, by the time it reached earth's atmosphere, it would have started to burn, and evaporate, also, the pressure from it's descent, and the amount of fuel that would have been falling would have caused an explosion, like a fireball. It's way to low, , if it had been fluid, it would have ignited, thus triggering an explosion. If you think i'm wrong, please respond to my comment. =D

Simple question: if all these UFOs are merely space debris, as NASA always claims, then why is it that whenever an astronaut films this "debris" they film it with great interest, with continuous tracking, zooming and panning? it's frozen liquid. i don'z know what was inside the fuel tank, maybe it was solid or gas fuel but fuel may change its phase in strange conditions of space. it is probably a material related with this fuel tank. moreover it's proceeding on the same orbit with tank.

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree here too. Definably a cool shape but it kind of looks like ice and as if it starts to break apart near the end of the clip. @24damoney i have to disagree most of the moisture in the earths atmosphere is in the troposphere which is the lowest layer. i dont thinks it impossible for water to come from space because but usually we are told it comes frozen within a meteor or comet. but who knows that could be wrong as well. the reason why i do not think its frozen water is because these things tend to have a type of elastic movement associated with them . and we all know ice is very not elastic

I don't know man, fluid, i mean even if it was fluid that froze up, how could it make such precise angles of wings and a tail, also, if it was just fluid that froze up, why would it be on the same path as the reserve tank? I mean the thing is already in the earths atmosphere, so if it was fluid that froze up, once in the earths atmosphere it would have started to descened like the reserve tank, because u can see flames coming off of it. Fluid, i wouldnt bet my money on that theory. I think UFO.

Your UFO is part of the structure that attaches the external fuel tank to the shuttle. Funny how he doesn't exclusively film the 'UFO' which you might have expected, but also keeps filming the fuel tank.
Great footage of normal stuff falling normally from a very normal shuttle launch.

@stianhardeland no, the orange bullet-like thing is the fuel tank. The other thing, resembling a big ice crystal, is the ufo. But, it could be another artifact from any other space craft. There is so rubbish out there from the space trips, that we never know.

very interesting indeed.. like the video states this is the second video of this kind.. look at frames 1:26-1:29 and you can clearly see the "object" .. slice.. through a portion of the clouds/upper atmosphere which indicates to me that it has solid mass to it, not to mention the relative size compared to the fuel tank..

Millions of Galaxys that we can see. Our nearest star the Sun so happens to support life on earth. it's frozen liquid. i don'z know what was inside the fuel tank, maybe it was solid or gas fuel but fuel may change its phase in strange conditions of space. it is probably a material related with this fuel tank. moreover it's proceeding on the same orbit with tank.

I agree, it could be liquid that leaked somehow and froze in the mid air creating such effect plus the angle and lighting. It could be many things. Although, it is pretty strange.

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree here too. Definably a cool shape but it kind of looks like ice and as if it starts to break apart near the end of the clip. I believe in life elsewhere in the universe; the expanse it just too great for there not to be somewhere. I don't really believe they'd bother coming here though even if they were capable. Meh, I dunno, would be a world-changing event if aliens presented themselves. They'd probably just blast our planet out of the galaxy.

@24damoney I agree that it could be liquid, but one thing that doesn't suport the idea is how semetrical it is. If the liquid were frozen, it would be in a random shape with a high probibility of it being more round like a ball or several balls, it wouldn't be one object as is seen in the video. I say alien.

Also, the object is free falling (not controlled flying),the symmetry could be cause by da force on how the liquid was ejected from the tanker to the colder air (pressurized liquid), there are just too many things, I'm just speculating

@24damoney i have to disagree most of the moisture in the earths atmosphere is in the troposphere which is the lowest layer. i dont thinks it impossible for water to come from space because but usually we are told it comes frozen within a meteor or comet. but who knows that could be wrong as well. the reason why i do not think its frozen water is because these things tend to have a type of elastic movement associated with them . and we all know ice is very not elastic

Its still within the bounds of Earths gravity, Its rusty red just like the main fuselage... not to mention its shape. And that "UFO" is clearly attached to it because as resistance takes effect it sways according to the tank... as well; it begins to inflate just before it's shrouded in clouds. Case closed!
