When i was a young troll, my moms best hippie friend gave this album to me, to this day i own an original copy of this album, ive played it at parties and people loved it. now im 50 DEATH TO WHITIE< POOR WHITE TRASH
Touring companions? They were members of the band! They recorded several albums as the lead singers of the Mothers, and gt the occasional songwriting credit.
Flo and Eddie were so brilliant they were insane! I loved and lived with this L.P. in the 70's, and I mostly listened to it alone, (Go figure), because not too many other people Got It! Howard Kaylan and Mark Vohlman grab a Gold Star and head to the FRONT of the class! You boys really did SHINE! "See that honky, poor white trash, kick his ass, smoke his hash, ball his woman, ball his son, death to whitey right on! Death to whitey, Burn the honky, RIGHT ON, RIGHT ON!" THKS YT and Vooty13! R O S!
F&E are the best, I sat having a drink with Howard once in between shows when this album came out. I remember him saying how he was almost thirty and Living in the Jungle was getting hard to sing at his age.35+ yrs later he's still going strong.
@fa4452 Never fear, unless you've found it since you posted this, last year the Acadia label reissued Illegal, Immoral & Fattening and Moving Targets as a 2-disc in 1 package CD. F & E also reissued their first two LPs as a 2-in-1er on their own FloEd imprint.
one my favs too....wish the whole album could be posted.....pop star massage unit, kama sutra time are great too...."death to whitey, burn the honky...right on right on" LOL
Classic!! Of course, this song would not be considered "politically correct" today, but screw those people who don't think this is one of the coolest songs ever!! Flo & Eddie are the kings of satire...
Hilarious - "Death to whitey - right on!" :)

1980 or so, this song changed things for me. Is that so fucking wrong? Don't take my hash, but I will sing "Right on, Right on" in perfect unison.

Wow...if they were making fun of white people doing 'black' music then...they would have a freaking ball doing it today. Awesome song.
